Pros:

Un angolo di Sicilia autentica, con un pizzico di mistero.

Posto incantevole affacciato sul lungomare di Porticello. Per un soggiorno lampo (sabato pomeriggio – domenica mattina, maledetti orari di lavoro!) è stata la scelta perfetta.
Abbiamo passeggiato tra Porticello e Sant'Elia, visitato le calette e goduto di panorami mozzafiato — tutto rigorosamente a piedi, senza bisogno di altri mezzi. Poi una pizza e una crepes nei locali vicini: serata perfetta.
L'albergo è elegante e moderno, con uno staff di una gentilezza disarmante. Quello che lo rende davvero speciale è la storia che porta con sé: il palazzo apparteneva al cugino di Pirandello, e si narra che tra queste mura siano nate alcune delle sue migliori idee. Ogni camera richiama le novelle dell'autore (proprio come il nome stesso dell'albergo) e sono stati conservati elementi originali come i pavimenti in cementina, il granito e le maioliche.
In sintesi per noi tutto perfetto, nonostante il soggiorno brevissimo, tranne il fantasma che di notte ha deciso di svegliarci, ma vabbè questa è un'altra storia, forse avevamo mangiato troppo pesante, o forse chissà...

P.S. — Non abbiamo cenato al ristorante, quindi non posso giudicarlo, ma ho visto le foto della location e sembra favoloso! Si tratta di un ristornate gourmet quindi suppongo che i prezzi siano altini.

Santa Flavia kiváló kiindulópont Szicília északi részének felfedezéséhez.
Pros:

A szálloda közvetlenül a tengerparti sétány mellett fekszik, esténként helyiek és nyaralók özönlik el a teret és élvezik a finom falatokat a számtalan étterem valamelyikében.
A szálloda személyzete rendkívül segítőkész, mindent megtesznek, hogy a vendégek jól érezzék magukat.

Cons:

A reggeli lehetett volna egy picit bőségesebb, pl. a sonka és sajt választék. A teát is hiányoltam.

Breve soggiorno ma ricco di bellezza.
Pros:

Mi è piaciuto tutto nel suo contesto, sopratutto la cordialità e la disponibilità dell'albergatore, della moglie e il suo staff.
L'ultima sera abbiamo potuto gustare una buonissima cena nel bellissimo locale sottostante l'albergo, scoprendo che lo stesso albergatore è un noto e bravissimo Chet Stellato.

Cons:

Avevamo la camera al 4 piano (bellissima) ma purtroppo un pò disagevole arrivarci per via della struttura dell'albergo. Ma la sua bellezza ripaga ampiamente.
