The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa - Caters to Gay Men

Pros- Very clean , comfortable, super staff! A little pricey , but similar to other similar style men’s hotels. Had a great time!
Cons- not really walkable ( unless you’ve got 25-30 mins) to Wilton Dr where the restaurants and bars are . Wish they had a full bar and onsite restaurant. They do have a very limited menu for lunches and dinners. Breakfast is continental only. (There is a close by place though called Egg n you with full breakfasts and lunches, and is wonderful that is a 6-8 min walk)

Great place to stay! Me and my partner had tons of fun. Everything we needed or wanted was close by. The staff was amazing. I recommend the waterfront room if you are staying here. 😌

I Love this place, cute, great rooms. Clean. Love the property, close to all. The staff rocks, everyone I have met, from my first phone call and I got Paul. Totally recommend and coming back.

Such a fun gay resort . Staff was amazing , pool was so warm and lots of chairs and friendly guests . Big enough to walk around yet everything was conveniently placed .

From the moment we arrived it's been wonderful. Right out of the gate William and Paul made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is great, the grounds and rooms are clean. GM Tim is amazing, friendly, welcoming and shows he takes pride in his work and the resort; the entire staff does. House keeping is not excluded, they too are very friendly and willing to help with anything you need.

The property is aging but well maintained. The rooms are clean and bright. The staff is well trained and efficient; cordial and professional.
Getting into and out of the Guesthouse by car can be challenging given its proximity to the street.

If it weren’t for the staff, this wouldn’t have been that great. My room was quite small and the head of the bed was about 2 feet from the door. The kitchen cabinets are chipped and worn, the faucet doesn’t really run much cold water, and the shower is quite small. The furnishings are quite dated and there isn’t really anywhere comfortable to sit on a rainy day. There is no clear place to recycle plastics or glass, so there is quite a bit of waste as the cafe for breakfast (pre-wrapped pastry and cereal) produces quite a bit of waste.

The pool was nice, the hot tub was cozy, the gardens were lush and the staff were fantastic. If the owners invested some money in some upgrades — including a fresh coat of paint to the rooms and some upgrades to Smart televisions, this could be stellar.

This is a friendly, unpretentious, and welcoming place to stay! They go above and beyond to accommodate your every need!
