Stay away! Tick In Room

Dark lighting and finishes throughout. Had a tick in our room and staff didn't care. Did not stay in room more then 20 minutes, had to go to another hotel because we didn't know room wasn't infested. Looked like egg on wall, staff didn't even offer to inspect or change rooms. Was told by manager when we were leaving they would refund room as we had to pay for another room. Despite Booking contacting them multiple times, still no refund.

Cons:

Overcharge GST and HMF.
HMF is suppose to be 1.5% of room rental. Before taxes! It was applied after GSt and PST.
Then GST was applied on that total.
This is serious and deliberate cheating!

Great affordable hotel to stay at. Close to many restaurants and amenities
Pros:

Hotel was clean and quiet. Ample parking space. Friendly courteous staff.

My stay was very restful and a joyful experience. I will be back.
Pros:

The breakfast had lots of options and was ready on time at 6 am. Friendly staff. Excellent bathroom and tub. The extra sink, counter and fridge helped a lot. The parking up to my door was handy for me and my service dog to navigate his bathroom breaks. Having a pet friendly room on the bottom floor was a dream come true. We enjoyed ourselves very much

Cons:

I noticed whilst wiping up a spill from the kids that the carpet was very dirty. It turned the white cloth black. It probably should be steam cleaned once and a while.
