Great place to stay. Very central with very nice people working there.
Die Lage war perfekt. Nahe am Bahnhof und Nahe an der Innenstadt. Alles zu Fuss gut erreichbar.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of the city, 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and train station and 10 minutes to the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi. And right on the Santa Maria Novella Church square surrounded by bars and restaurants.
Absolutely beautiful room with vaulted ceiling that had been lovingly decorated with renaissance frescos giving it a very classy feeling. The rest of the hotel is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with some quirky additions like the life size super hero mannequins which sound like they should be naff but are actually very in keeping.
All the staff from our lovely chamber maid to the hotel manager were a credit to the place. All so happy, helpful and available to assist with any questions or problems.
Breakfast was fresh daily with plenty of choice for all preferences.
The only issue we had was some work being done on the building next door which started at 8am. Not really an issue to us as we were up and out around them anyway, and they were usually finished by the afternoon.
A couple of suggestions for the hotel management for improvement
1/ More drawer storage required in both the room and the bathroom. Only one small drawer available for clothing etc in the room and nothing in the bathroom to keep toiletries etc.
2/ fix the bed to the wall as if you were in bed watching tv or reading and resting on the headboard the bed would slide away from the wall.
These things did not detract however from an overall fabulous stay. Well done Garibaldi Blu
