Nice
The location was great, lots of food and drink options. It is just far enough for it not to be molested by too much noise pollution.
The room was modest, but at its discounted price (47%) was fair. Would not have paid the full rack rate. Missing no kettle for hot drinks but did have a functional fridge. The bathroom was functional, there were no issues, and I had hot water on demand, i.e.had a hot shower at 10.40 pm
Have to give a shout out to the staff, day receptionist was warm, cheerfull excellent English
The night staff was very proactive, friendly, and just enough English to get by.
Ps. In this area of 'Hems aka narrow Alleys', the hotel sits on a 4m road. So taxis are able to come directly to your door
No kettle. Though I am sure if I had asked....

The fact that they were doing major construction out the front. It was very noisy. But not the hotel’s fault. 😀

Taxi will not pick up outside hotel but at the beginning of narrow street. The street outside is also a building site now (March 2025)

This is an older property located smack down in the middle of an expat backpacker area. Not too bad for a budget hotel with Spartan amenities where sleep and shower facilities is all you need.
