Very nicely located ski in/out hotel with the kids’ slopes nearby. Mixed feelings about the atmosphere & rooms: basically nice, but odd use of space (e.g very large bathroom in the room available for one person use, very large sauna in one suite). Food excellent (too much of it at the dinners included in the half board) but restaurant a bit understaffed…and perhaps a bit tired at this stage of the season. Overall very clean. Atmosphere professional but not especially welcoming or friendly.
De entourage en sfeer was goed en het personeel erg vriendelijk en servicegericht. Het ontbijt en het avondeten was top.
De saunafaciliteiten waren oké, maar kan beter.
We loved our luxe stay at Cappella. Felt very different and special to other hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The biggest shout out to Anna, our incredible waitress who looked after us every breakfast and dinner - she anticipated all our needs and remembered the smallest things and preferences like coffee orders and remembering what you ate the night before (ps their 1/2 board dinner option is incredible value at €15 euro - it was an incredible menu to choose from and included the buffet) pool and sauna facilities are beautiful too. You look up at the mountains when lying on their sun beds.
Location is great, slightly out of Corvara so nice and quiet.
Thank you for an unforgettable stay
A great hotel is where you feel at home in nice environment . If it is just a nice environment but not making you feeling home, that’s just a nice hotel, not a great “place”.
Úplně všechno.
Luxusní hotel.
Nemuuseli každý den měnit povleceni a ručníky.
S ohledem na přírodu, nedostatku vody.
I have stayed 2 winter seasons in Hotel Cappella. I have wonderful memories during both my stays.
I love everything about your hotel, from the Goulash soup to the comfortable bed and heated shower floor.
Breakfast and dinner are exceptionally good. Your service rendered is impeccable.
I just returned from your hotel last December, yet I am already looking forward to staying in Hotel Cappella this coming December.
I will be making my booking soon, as I know you and your team are there to see that I am going have another enjoyable holiday in Hotel Cappella and The Dolomites next winter.
Hotel Cappella is a one-of-a-kind, bucket list destination. We stayed in Suite Lavarela and it was immaculate. The grounds and amenities were top-shelf, the food was spectacular, and the service was fantastic (especially Gerry and Luigi!).
All around, my wife and I would give Hotel Cappella a perfect 10/10. The pride and pursuit of excellence from the staff, management and ownership is very evident.
We are planning our return already!
Hotel Capella is amazing! My family stayed at this family-owned resort in Colfosco -which is in the Alta Badia region of the Dolomites - for a week and we experienced incredible service, decor, scenery and cuisine! Staying there made our visit to Italy complete.
Also, we developed great rapport with Gerry and Luigi who are on the wait staff, and they provided stellar service catered to the specific needs of our family. For example, our son is allergic to all nuts, and they went out of their way to ensure his safety and that he had a first class dining experience. That is Gerry in the picture – when you go there ask for he and Luigi…they are fantastic!
The staff are so helpful and welcoming and the hotel facilities are great. Amazing location for ski in / out.
Almost perfect apart from the provision of food for young children. 7 days straight of the same chicken nuggets or tomato pasta was disappointing. The kids were excited to try pizza in Italy but the kitchen wouldn’t cook it. If they could get this bit right then it would be brilliant.
You find a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Alps.
You decide to stay there because you can go directly to the slope, and the restaurant and swimming pool have a beautiful view of the mountains. You book one of the better/larger double rooms and pay extra to have a view of the mountains. You're planning a beautiful week of vacation with ubiquitous views of the mountains.
You drive there all day, 10 hours from Poland, you are late so you decide to have a quick dinner at the hotel. And suddenly you face reality... the restaurant manager, Luigi, pleasantly informs you that you are a "second-class" guest... you learn that if you booked a stay with breakfast and not all meals, he can only offer you a table at the back of the restaurant... because the most attractive tables, by the windows... with your dream views of the mountains, for which you decided to choose this hotel, are only for those "better" guests who have purchased the option of additional meals. Of course, you won't find information about this anywhere before your arrival. Neither on booking nor on the hotel website. And what is important, even when the tables are free, you are absolutely not allowed to take them... because they are not for you! They are for the "better" hotel guests.
Luigi... the "very nice" restaurant manager... with great dedication, informs you that if there are any free tables by the windows for breakfast, "maybe" we will be able to sit there, but only on the one they kindly allow us to sit at. It was like that for the next two days. We got a table, one of the worse ones... but still in the better part of the restaurant. And suddenly, on the third day, a strange situation occurs. Suddenly, during the meal, the waiter who showed you this table earlier comes up and pay attention! It kicks you out of it! because the guest to whom this table is assigned came... and around (I have a video to prove it) there are 11 free tables!
Everything about this property was amazing! From the location, rooms, food & staff. We will be back!
Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. We liked, the way it's renovated, where it is renovated. The rooms are clean, nice and big enough.
The food for dinner is exceptional! We loved it very much, and the service there is also amazing.
Why I cannot give 5*****, is because of beds and pillows. And no air-conditioning, especially in the gym, which I cannot understand. And the gym is the place, where I was really disappointed. The equipment is very, very old, and very badly equipped concerning weights, etc.
