Not too far of a walk from the night market and many restaurants and bars on the street and nearby. Room clean and spacious and staff lovely.
If you are interested in museums, old town, or man nightlife then location is pretty good.
The room had a few insects, which I wouldn’t normally mind. However, the main issue appeared after the first night, when I was bitten by bedbugs. At first, I thought they were mosquito bites, but the marks were larger, appeared in clusters, and were much more itchy. I only realized this a few days later.
My room was located on the top floor, which was not accessible by elevator. I suspect that this issue may not affect all rooms, but it was unfortunately the case in mine.
I did not like anything about this property. Especially not the cockroaches in my bed and dirty stains on the sheets. I’d say best thing about this property was leaving, even if i didn’t get my money back.
There is a lot to dislike about this property. We booked for 4 nights and left after 1 night. Firstly, we noticed that the rooms looked a lot more outdated than in the photos provided online. This was initially fine until we also realised that there were lots of stains around the room including on the walls and on the bed sheets. We tried to get past this and just get to bed as we had a busy day travelling. But in the night I woke up to find the bed and floor of the hotel had many cockroaches on them. It was too late to find new hotel for that evening so we had to stay the night. In the morning, I lifted up the mattress in room 106 and there was atleast 12-15 cockroaches underneath crawling on the bed frame and mattress. This completely put us off staying in the property as the place was infested with cockroaches. We immediately checked out and raised this issue with the manager online and quite frankly the way she reacted was down right appalling. She refused to refund us for the remaining 3 nights stay with the hotel as we didn’t raise the issue while we were there. They also stated that they could change our room. After explaining that I didn’t want to stay in any room of her hotel. It was clear to see she wasn’t going to refund us for the money. I even asked her 3 times if she would stay in the rooms in her own hotel and she would not answer the question. It was clear to see as soon as we decided we were going to leave the hotel she was not going to refund us. Bearing in mind we paid for 4 nights stay and after we left they probably put someone else in straight away. There is also many reviews saying this company steals belongings and cash so we did not feel safe staying in the hotel for any more days.I hope she is happy with the $85 dollars she took from me and uses the money to hopefully pay a cleaner to clean the rooms.
