The manager is omni present and caring of the product - clear in overall cleanliness and high standards. The rest of Hoi An is a hell hole of rude, pestering street sellers and restaurants peddling ant inhabited dishes, reached via roads surging with horrible traffic users.

Hotel Royal Hoi An is one of the most convenient places to stay for visiting the Old Town. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service at the Executive Lounge was particularly outstanding. The elegance and beauty of the wooden architecture rival that of any famous luxury hotel.
​However, there are a few things to keep in mind. Although the welcome food was a nice gesture, it was unfortunately covered in ants. Also, don’t expect the promised "welcome service" with a placard at the airport. That said, they are punctual with the pick-up time, so just wait calmly and they will arrive. Excluding these minor details, it is truly a wonderful hotel.

The Hotel is really good. So, Delicious breakfast. And the room is very beautiful and comfortable. The Staffs are friendly.

Super helpful staff! Breakfast is good and the hotel have new disk everday. We booked the superior room we are offered free Executive longue everyday, which is a big plus. We can enjoy really good food and drink from 5PM.
Location is also great, not too far from the center old town, we can walk in 5-10 mins.

The staffs here are knowledgeable and very friendly, ensuring all my needs are addressed here. The hotel itself is within close walk to the old town, just a nice 10mins walk.

Simply amazing hotel.. great staff, big clean rooms and the location couldn’t be better for exploring Hoi An. If you want to stay near the Old & Ancient town, you don’t get better than here!

Amazing experience at Hotel Royal. Truc and the FO team made sure I had everything I needed during my stay and gave me suggestions for tailors and activities. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

We had a lovely stay here just before Xmas. Celebrated my wife’s birthday and the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful in organising a cake and some birthday surprises. Gorgeous swimming pool.

My son has sudden pain and some mental problems.
The receptionist was welcomed with all their heart. Despite their dedication, he was able to heal immediately. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Hoi An, not in all Vietnam. I highly commend the reception staff. Their names are VY & FO team. This is real hospitality of Vietnam 🇻🇳

A truly excellent time at the Hotel Royal Hoi An.
The room was comfortable and well presented and kept spotless by the cleaning staff. The food was well presented and tasty. Serving staff were excellent.
The whole atmosphere was tremendous, led by the staff, every one of whom we met was friendly and helpful
The staff were, without doubt exceptional, illustrated by the way one of the reception staff, Vi, went above and beyond in order to help us with a problem.

We stayed 4 nights in Hoi An Hotel Royal just over a month after their worst floods. The hotel has done a fantastic job getting back to normal and do a fantastic job looking after guests.

I recently stayed at Hotel Royal Hoi An Gallery and overall had a very good experience.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, especially the ones with a balcony overlooking the river, those are definitely worth booking if available. The interior feels fresh and well-maintained, as if the rooms have been recently renovated, which adds a nice modern touch while still keeping a boutique feel.

The location is excellent: the hotel is away from the noise and crowds of the Ancient Town, yet still within easy walking distance. You can enjoy some peace and quiet at the hotel and then reach the heart of Hoi An in just a short walk.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent overall. They are attentive and welcoming, which really adds to the experience.

The only real downside for me is the elevator access to the guest rooms. To reach the elevator, you have to walk through the hotel restaurant, and the kitchen smells can be quite strong and a bit unpleasant as you pass through.

Aside from this point, I genuinely recommend staying at Hotel Royal Hoi An Gallery, especially if you choose a river-view balcony room.

I had a wonderful experience and should out to outstanding front desk team. All staff gave a warm warm welcome and incredibly professional. Check-in was quick and seamless, and they were always ready to help with anything I needed—whether it was local recommendations, transport arrangements, or just a friendly chat after a long day exploring Hoi An.

Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly made my stay memorable.
