Staff Behaviour, Food quality
Have to work on the Overall cleanliness and upgrade of facilities. Many other better resorts are available at this charge.
Sprawling & well kept
Room key was bit defective.
Mayfair is an excellent place to stay in Rourkela. The room is quite large and very comfortable. Bathroom is really impressive in size and amenities. Although I have not dined there this time, I had dinner a couple of times in the past and the food was excellent. I am very impressed and Mayfair will be my choice every time I visit Rourkela.
Ambience & Abundance of Greenery in the campus.
Online Price was a good deal for a nights stay.
Checkin was smooth.
Their Bakery & Chaat counter was good though a bit pricey.
Having stayed at their other properties - this one is just a bit over the standard norms... considering this is the 1st Mayfair property.
Room was not bright enough even during the daytime but understandable due to greenery.
So the Mosquitoes too were abundant in the room.
Room was big enough but nothing great.
*My order for a Grilled Chicken Sandwich was Over over priced for just Two large slices of Bread + a 5/- Uncle chips pack ??
had to Pay a Bill of 525Rs. for this - Really felt cheated !
Decorative interior
Area is little small than our expectations
The staff was nice and courteous. There was a swimming pool, billiards room, gym and library cum lounge section, all of which were nice.
I think the hotel is an older property. At least the room I was staying in needs some sort of renovation. TV was attached to the mirror which was dark in many spots.
Overall service level. Efforts made to give the property a grand feel. Breakfast spread was amazing.
Room size. Overl the property looks dated and could do well with a bit of facelift (like no sofa even for the premium room). Dining menu was very much overpriced.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Absolutely fantastic stay at Mayfair. Kudos to the super attentive and responsive staff who were very efficient. The room was comfortable and the property as a whole is very pleasant.
The food was top notch as well.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as the best in Rourkela.
