Conveniant
It was SO loud from the freeway noise
The price
The hotel smelled of Marijuana, bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible. The hotel is right next to the freeway so you hear cars raving up all night long to get onto the freeway. Seemed kind of like a run down facility.
The staff as well as the facility in general is amazing.
The door key was challenging when it is in contact with credit cards or a car key.
Cleanliness and excellent treatment by staff
Less truck noise
No breakfast at those location
Bathroom sink stopper stick. Minor problem
Room was sizeable and well furnished. Everything was clean & functional. Hotel was adjacent to freeway, so it wasn't great to have the window open but wasn't terrible or smelly either. A great Mex restaurant was a short walk away, as was the Centennial Trail along the river which extends to Spokane and Couer d'Alene. Price was reasonable but not great for a place WAY out in the valley.
I seriously downgraded as the hotel had no record of the 3 day reservation I'd made many months prior thru booking.com. Much worse, both the desk clerk & their manager assumed ZERO responsibility for the error or the position it put me in, simply blaming booking. Realistically, this was the hotel chain's responsibility as they bought the property from another hotel chain after the time I booked my reservation. The core problem is that the new chain failed to reconcile the reservation list they maintained with that from Booking.com.
I has arrived for a high school reunion nearby, after a 500 mile bike ride. And the hotel staff merely says "not our problem." THAT justifies the downgrade.
