At this time of the year we expected an exceptional stay and we are deceived
Pros:

The design of the hotel in a large jungly garden and a swimming pool

Cons:

No facilities in the bedroom , no fridge no kettle and very poor boring breakfasts
The staff there was polite but no warm

Un chouette lieu pour une étape
Pros:

Un établissement qui ne paie pas de mine dans le centre de Sarapiqui mais qui vaut le coup et le rapport qualité prix. Les enfants ont adoré la grande piscine pour se rafraîchir apres le parc et le fait que l’hôtel soit sur « pilotis ». Nous y avons vu des iguanes, des aras et des chauve-souris !

Great staging stop before going to Tortugero
Pros:

Essentially the only accommodation in town as a staging step before you take the boat to Tortugero. Good restaurant and very helpful staff.
Bonus iguanas on the tree just next to the balcony.

Prima Stop zwischen Karibik und La Fortuna
Pros:

Toller Steg zu den Zimmern. Blick in den Dschungel vom Zimmer aus, obwohl vorne an der Hauptstraße gelegen. Absolut ruhig. Gutes Frühstück. Geschäfte direkt in der Straße. Aktivitäten rund um den Ort.

Pros:

La piscina, estar en el centro de la ciudad y en la selva al mismo tiempo. Es un sitio singular. Sarapiquí me pareció un buen lugar un poco fuera del circuito habitual.

Cons:

Está un poco viejo. Las instalaciones necesitan una actualización. Pero dicho sea de paso, todo es funcional. Un poco caro para lo que habíamos pagado en otras ubicaciones. El desayuno fue un poco lento. Era a la carta entre varias opciones.

Goede plek vriendelijke mensen maar de NIET superior kamers wat te oncomfortabel en aan de prijs
Pros:

Ligt aan gezellig centraal plein aan de ene kant en de jungle aan de andere kant. Goede plek voor een tussenstop op doorreis. Rijk aan voorzieningen (zwembad tot 22u open, eigen restaurant, 24u receptie, engels sprekend, erg vriendelijk en flexibel, ruime parkeerplaats). Ik kon tot laat ontbijten (11u) en zelf zeggen wat ik wilde hebben. Goede airco.

Cons:

Het hotel was op booking uitverkocht, bij nabellen bleken de superiorkamers uitverkocht, maar er waren nog wel gewone kamers die men normaal gesproken niet verhuurt via booking omdat genius member een gratis upgrade krijgen naar een superior kamer. Die vielen me toch wat tegen, ook gezien de prijs van 90 dollar. Jaren 70 bruin oranje, gedateerd, voelde smoezelig (vond een broek achter een bed), maar was feitelijk denk ik schoon. Goede airco. TV met weinig interesante zenders. Bed te hard. Ongezellig zitje buiten. Gehorig.

De locatie, de loopbrug met kamers en de tuin. Het bed lag heerlijk. Leuk balkon met zicht op tuin

Cons:

Het restaurant, weinig friet geen vriendelijke bediening het ontbijt was het slechtste we aten om half 9 er lag nog zeer weinig. Geen vriendelijke behulpzaam personeel ze hadden er niet veel zin in. Tafels nog niet afgedekt. We aten alleen geroosterd brood met jam. Geen boter te vinden of ander beleg. De warme gerechten lagen al lamg in de bakken.

Sehr schön angelegter Zugang auf Stelzen zu den Zimmern. Sehr nettes Personal.

Cons:

Das Essen war schlecht, sowohl morgens als auch abends- mehrere verschiedene Gerichte haben es nicht verbessert.
