Completely unexpected, very happily surprised!
Pros:

What a great hotel! stylish and clean. Staff were super friendly and went out of the way to attend. Location could not be better. Love this hotel!

Cons:

If i was to change anything, install a new shower with a bit more pressure. thats it!

Spokane is not my favorite city but the Davenport is an oasis.
Pros:

My room was quiet and the bed was so comfortable. These are my top two priorities (aside from being clean) when I travel and I was very pleased.

Cons:

My stay was during a busy weekend for a local university with a lot of parents coming into town. My flight was almost entirely parents and many of them stayed at the Davenport Tower or one of the other nearby Davenport hotels. We all had to find our own transportation. Frankly, that seems dumb from an ecological and efficiency angle. Next year, I hope there is a shuttle. If the Holiday Inn can provide a shuttle, it seems like the Davenport could too. No one wants a car service (see inefficient and ecologically unsound).

Great location, clean and nice staff
Pros:

Gorgeous property, the pool was a big hit, beds on the comfortable side. Our bathroom was broken, but they sent the nicest maintenance man up to fix it right away. Front desk was helpful.

Cons:

Not enough towels, extra fee’s and parking wasn’t expected.

The location was great, everything was clean and staff was friendly.

Cons:

My bathroom toilet did not flush the duration of my stay. I informed the front desk and was told they’d work on it but they never did. There was a loud noise coming from the toilet that was easily heard when approaching the room as well. I ended up having to use the bathroom in the lobby which is not ideal for the hopes of being in the comfort of the room after paying. I only stayed a night but had this been a multi day stay i definitely would’ve been frustrated. It was still a good stay but I don’t think I’d book again.

Noisy room with elevator.
Pros:

The property was very clean and the employees very nice.

Cons:

The room we were assigned was next to the elevators and extremely loud all night long. I made the front desk aware in the morning and they were very apologetic. Yet, I had paid for a quiet hotel room and had that expectation. They did not meet that expectation and did not offer adequate compensation. It was a very disappointing stay in that aspect.

Disappointing experience considering cost of stay.
Pros:

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lobby is very nice, luxurious feel. Waitstaff professional and friendly. Housekeeping friendly.

Cons:

Front desk staff dismissive/almost rude. Parking garage validation info. from front desk staff inaccurate. Had to come back to lobby from parking garage for additional assistance. Body wash empty/never filled (asked housekeeping) and body lotion 3/4 used and smelled weird for L’Occitane (higher end body care product) Shampoo 1/3 full. I was surprised by exterior of building. Boxwood landscaping grown out, no upkeep. Planters, sides of building, sidewalks incredibly filthy. This was surprising to me considering the upscale reputation of the Davenport hotels. Quick weekly power wash and monthly landscaping would be well worth it to maintain higher end hotel feel.
