Small hotel, friendly staff

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they really made you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is not located directly in the city center, but it is about a 20 minute walk away and is easily connected by tram.

The room was too hot, and although the temperature control was clearly visible, it did not actually change the temperature. I had to contact reception, and they eventually turned off the heating. The hotel is located in a busy transit area and the sound insulation is not very good, so it can be quite loud, especially due to the traffic outside.

The breakfast selection was complete, but it was spread across two different rooms without a very logical organization, which made it somewhat inconvenient to find things. As I had to leave early, I was also a bit frustrated that breakfast opened later than announced, leaving me with only a few minutes to eat before departing. In this case, punctuality would have been appreciated.

Whenever we comeback to Zagreb we will stay at The Garden Hotel.
Pros:

Everything is an easy answer but it’s true. The hotel is in a perfect location, the price was great, good breakfast, and the staff is fantastic.

Super stay for three people
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Garden hotel. The location was perfect for the trams and buses to the centre of town. The staff were all lovely and always very helpful. The room was a very comfortable size for three people. They let us leave our luggage before check in and after check out. We had a lovely stay!

Overall a nice hotel for the money and with a good location and possibility to park
