Habitación, muy confortable y con vistas al exterior fantásticas.

Schöne Location mit guten Ansätzen, aber ausbaufähig!

Schöner Sauna-Bereich, den man kostenfrei für 1 Stunde buchen kann. Beim Frühstück gab es - mit einem tollen Blick auf die Berge - unter anderem sehr leckere Pistaziencreme-Croissants und einen sehr guten Espresso.

Insgesamt war die Belegschaft nach einem schwierigen Start doch sehr bemüht, ihre Rolle als Gastgeberin zu erfüllen.

Cons:

Leider hat uns das Hotel nicht vorab darüber informiert, dass der direkt anliegende Tunnel von/nach Frankreich jedes Jahr im Herbst auf Grund von Wartungsarbeiten gesperrt ist. Apple Maps scheint dies auch nicht gewusst zu haben, was uns einen fast zweistündigen Umweg beschert hat. Über diesen Umstand könnte man seine Gäste im Rahmen der sowieso verschickten E-Mails mit einem kurzen Satz informieren.

Unser Zimmer hatte leider keinen Blick auf die schöne Berglandschaft, sondern auf das danebenliegende Schulgebäude in der Optik eines Weltkriegbunkers. Angesichts dessen, dass das Hotel zudem nahezu leer schien, hätte man uns hier vielleicht auf ein Zimmer mit schönerer Aussicht buchen können. Für eine Nacht egal, bei mehreren Nächten hätte ich das vor Ort moniert.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Scoiattolo. We were lucky enough to book an additional night with a very short notice. The breakfast was very good, they have a lovely sauna and spa area which we used both our nights. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were so helpful and nice.

Het personeel bij het ontbijt en in de wellness was uitstekend. Dit maakt de vakantie compleet.

De bar is wat ongelukkig weggestopt in de kelder. Ook de inkomhal en de lift ogen vrij donker en verouderd.

Spectacular Hotel in the Heart of Courmayeur

Lovely room, great staff!
Pros:

We had our luggage transferred to the hotel and staff had the bags ready and waiting in our room when we arrived! Staff was very helpful in recommending a great dinner location. Breakfast the next morning was stunning! Wonderful coffee, honey from the comb and fresh squeezed orange juice! Loved it! We booked a room with a balcony which was beautiful!
