The Classy Hotel, also known as the Classy Lady by the expat community of Battambang will not disappoint. I have stayed there three times during my travels, and the hotel attracts some high-level Cambodian customers. This time, I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room. You can trust that you will be comfortable here and well-looked after.
The hotel has an elegant atmosphere which starts in the foyer. Grand staircases and intricate wood carvings greet you as you enter. Statues and engravings picture traditional Cambodian artwork inspired by its many temples as well as some French colonial and Chinese influence.
The breakfast is elaborate with a lot on offer. All the regulars are there with the egg and noodle station, decent coffee, tropical fruit, stir fried vegetables, rice, and a more nuanced bakery selection.
The rooms are big and roomy. The wooden furniture is tasteful and expensive. Inside the room, we had an excellent desk and chair to get some work done, a large wardrobe ensemble, which included shelves and sections for the kitchenette. Bedside tables, comfortable chairs and a large bed were included. A couple more drawers would have been nice, but the room has an aesthetic that puts the mind at ease.
The roomy bathroom is excellent with a walk-in, enclosed shower.
Over my three visits there seem to have been some changes. Jaya Café in the foyer is new taking the place of some enormous wooden chairs that used to be used for waiting guests.

The breakfast room is a little tight so, I recommend going early to get a good seat and beat the rush.
The sky bar and restaurant attached to it used to be one of the highlights of staying at this hotel but it was closed while I was there on my last visit possibly for refurbishments.
Some hooks to hang towels on and a shelf in the shower for personal toiletries would have been good.
Classy Hotel & Spa was so much better than I expected. I loved the pool, the food and the massage—everything about my stay was wonderful. The staff were lovely, and I would happily stay here again.

La piscina es grande con muchas tumbonas y baño exterior, cama comoda y vistas bonitas de la ciudad. El equipo nos ayudo con el transfer a otra ciudad, muy amables siempre y como nuestro bus salia de noche nos dejaron usar la piscina sin coste despues de nuedtro checkout, lo cual nos salvó, ya que hacía un calor extremo en la calle.
La habitación apestaba a tabaco, soy fumadora y no es algo que me suela molestar, pero este olor era tan intenso que nos despertaba por la noche. Al llegar la nevera no funcionaba y tuvieron que cambiarla. Las luces de la cama estaban rotas, poco champu y gel para 2 personas, no estaba muy limpio, baldosas rotas, habia restos de pegamento en las paredes. Durante la hora de la comida con huespedes comiendo, se pusieron a reparar una puerta con ruido de martillos y destornilladores. Cerveza muy cara para ser Camboya, en todos los hoteles de 5 estrellas era 1$, aqui 2.75€
.. son fallos menores pero es un hotel caro y supuestamente de 4 estrellas que no cumplia los minimos de calidad.
