Important information:

Mai Chau Ecolodge provides a round-trip shuttle service to and from Hanoi at an extra charge of USD 25 per person. Shuttle service runs between Mai Chau Ecolodge and Hanoi Opera House, Hanoi Old Quarter, following the schedule below:

- Hanoi to Lodge: 8:00 to 8:30
- Lodge to Hanoi: 14:00

Please arrive early so as not to miss the shuttle.

Treated like royalty
Pros:

This hotel had a fantastic location with a view of the rice fields and mountain range. Groups of tourists even stop at the place in front of the ecolodge to take pictures while watching the sunset.
By arrival we received an upgrade to the presidential suite. What a treat! It was a whole house and we even had a private pool with a splendid view. We saw the sunset from the pool. We felt sooooo lucky!
We had a nice diner in the restaurant as well. Many Asian choices and even some western ones as well.
The breakfast was great as well with a lot of choices, western and Asian. Salt and sweet.
It’s a more expensive hotel but worth every penny.
We really want to thank the hotel for the upgrade to the presidential suite. Thanks to that we felt like royalty.

Pros:

Excellent location. Access to bikes.

Cons:

Was charged for high tea when already paid. This was only identified after scrutinising the bill. The first room we were offered was damp. Leaking sink. We eat dinner every night as it would be difficult to go elsewhere. I didn't think the quality of food was four stars.

Me encantó todo. El hotel y la habitación preciosa. Las vistas al arrozal desde la piscina privada.
Un oasis de paz y calma en vietnam donde descansar, disfrutar del entorno natural, paseos con por los pueblecitos de alrededor y sentir la verdadera hospitalidad de Mai Chau

Tanto recepcionistas, servicio de habitación, camareros...todos un encanto y siempre con una sonrisa y mano para ayudarte a que tu estancia sea perfecta.

La comida es de 10! Tenéis que probar comida típica de Mai Chau.

Pros:

מקום יפיפה, ממש פנינה על גבעה שמשקיפה על נוף מדהים של שדות האורז. החדרים מאוד גדולים , המזגן מעולה, יש מים חמים עם זרם יציב גם באמבטיה וגם במקלחת החיצונית(לא תמיד טריוואלי בצפון ויאטנם). המלון מספק אופניים מכל מיני סוגים לרכיבה באזור ללא עלות. הספא היה מעולה.
כל הצוות היה מעולה: החל מהמנקות, הסבלים, פקידות הקבלה, מלצריות חדר האוכל ובייחוד השומר בכניסה התחתונה שהיה אדיב וסבלני בצורה יוצאת דופן.
אין ספק שמדובר באחד המלונות הטובים באזור, למרות שהמחיר הגבוה שגובים בו, לדעתי קצת לא פרופרציונאלי יחסית למחירים ולשרותים במקומות מסביב (או לצפון וויאטנם בכלל)

החדרים לא אטומים, יש רווחים גדולים בדלתות ובחלונות גם שהם סגורים. מיטב חיות האזור הגיעו לבקר בחדר (קחו בחשבון למי שזה מפריע). אבל יש כילות למיטות
תאורה חלשה בחדר.

Wer in Mai Chau ein paar lohnende Tage bleibt, sollte hier unbedingt wohnen
Pros:

Die gesamte Anlage ist äußerst gepflegt, die Doppelhäuser sind so gesetzt, dass man von der zum Zimmer gehörenden eigenen Terrasse einen wunderschönen Blick über die Reisfelder hat. Das sehr große Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten sind sehr bequem, nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Auf der Rückseite des Zimmers geht es zu einem kleinen hofartigen Platz, wo eine extra Außendusche angebracht ist. Man kann also im Grünen im Freien ebenfalls eine erfrischende Dusche nehmen. Auf der eigenen Terrasse gibt es Bambusmöbel, ein Tisch und zwei Sessel, durch eine
Bambuswand, die die Terrasse von der des Nebenzimmers trennt, ist die Privatspähre gewährleistet. Der Pool ist sehr angenehm groß, liegt so dass man in den Häusern keine Geräuschbelästigung erfährt. Insgesamt liegt die Anlage sehr ruhig ,aber trotzdem zentral im Tal von Mai Chau. Die Anlage bietet kostenlos recht ordentliche Fahrräder an. Das Frühstück wird in Buffetform serviert und bietet sehr viel Auswahl. - Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und in der Anlage sind sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit. Bei uns funktionierte am Abend die Terrassenbeleuchtung nicht, nach 10 Minuten war der Schaden behoben.

Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln!
