GH Universal Hotel Bandung

One of my favor Hotel I stayed in Indonesia.

멋진 호텔입니다.
직원들도 친절해요.
한가지 아쉬운점은 레스토랑에서 저녁을 먹었는데 뭔가 아쉬운 맛입니다.
조식은 바로 만들어주는 쥬스는 괜찮았는데 다른 음식들 역시 부족한 맛을 느꼈어요...

大変良いホテルです。インドネシアらしさはありませんがバンドゥンという観光地では問題ないと思います。シティービューの部屋でしたが景色も良く最高の気分でした。ガーデンビューの予約でしたが部屋に着いたらシティービューでした。が、景色が良かったのでそのままで滞在しました。

Had wonderful Experience at GH Universal. The staff were really supportive and helpful. Specially the reception staff Usef who did great job arranging B.day event for us and Syaiful who did wonderful job in helping with food arrangements.
It was a memorable moment staying there and would highly recommend it for everyone.

Atmosphere of bar on 5th floor, landscape is the best. Breakfast was very delicious.

This 5 star hotel is based on its decorations. Building is old, room is small and the shower warm water runs out pretty quickly. I rate the room 3-stars.

Unique designed hotel, however was poorly maintained.
The pool was dirty with dead flies with stained at the corner and bottom of the pool.
Room floor and toilet were dusty and sofa were stained with discoloration.
However we got to upgrade to deluxe queen sized beds room for free on our last days as they were doing maintained on the level we were staying, the conditions for the deluxe room were so much better. Guess you get what you paid for.
Lastly, majority of the staffs were not versed with English, except the ones at the receptions.
Locations were inconvenience from Bandung city too.
Expected more from the hotel with the prices and good reviews online.

BAD:

I totally regret booking this stay here for 5 days. My friend was having her wedding at the Hotel and thought it would be convenient to stay there. Boy... do I regret this. First off, when arrived, the AC took nearly 12 hours to get cool. We initially thought the AC unit was broken, so the hotel staff was kind and accommodating to switch our rooms. Ok, fine. that was nice. The next room basically has the same issue. We did not want to bother changing rooms, so the first night, we slept in a hot and humid room while waiting for the AC to work. Quite uncomfortable esp traveling for more than 30 hours to get there.

The condition was the hotel on the outside appears beautiful and well made. Great for pictures. The rooms however is a different story. Wall paper was peeling, the shower and bathroom is gross. There is a smell of mold and mildew, and it is apparent that the showers are not cleaned with cleaning solution. There's black mildew everywhere and the shower water ran cold after about 10 minutes. People smoked where ever they pleased and you can smell it even in the non smoking areas, and you can hear kids running and pounding on the walls in the mornings. Walls made very thin, you hear everything.

Hotel location was poor. Nothing to do and no sidewalks to walk on, but typical of indo.

GOOD: Staff was very friendly and attentive, breakfast was decent and had a lot of variety. If you came down for breakfast around 9, the food would be cold.

Pleasant assigned room. Facilities were excellent

Friendly staffs, clean room, great swimming pool, relatively affordable price. Romantic dinner restaurant / cafe

Comfortable, good ambience & service. My family love this hotel also my pet, he's happy

The room is generally clean. Great service and good command of English from the staff. Only issue we met was the room's air conditioning that was not strong or cool enough. The weather outside is much cooler. Breakfast was not too bad except for the condiments that were not fresh.

贅沢に慣れた日本人の感覚からすると、リゾートホテルとしては貧弱な印象。外観はゴシック調で素敵な印象だけれど、造りはチープ。
デラックスルームでも部屋にバスタブはないし、主要街道から近いために深夜まで車やバイクの騒音でうるさい。
フレンチ・イタリアンレストランのメニューも貧弱で、定番料理（フレンチオニオンスープ、エスカルゴ）が売り切れと聞いて驚いた。

Excellent service, very comfortable bed. Not much recreation though.

Outside exterior was good and nice. But inside the room was ridiculous for such stars hotel.
Aircon wasn't work properly, water leaking out from the Aircon, room was too small and not sound proof. You absolutely can hear kids and or people walk in the alley.

Suka banget sama suasana dlm kamar dan luar kamarnya, desain kamar dan bangunan luar yg sgt vintage membuat kami sekeluarga seakan2 berada di suasana Eropa yg sangat klasik. Kamar dan kamar mandi bersih tapi bagian taman dekat kolam renang yg ada tanaman dan kursi2nya kurang terawat, alangkah lbh indah kalo dibersihkan dan dirawat stp harinya.

Room is very small for that price. Over priced for that kind of room. The breakfast is really ordinary and far from city center. But the customer service is really good.they come to each guest to get their hotel review. And they apologize for the inconvenience and gave us a good pastry from their kitchen. But the interior&exterior design is really pretty.
