Good for one day stay. Staff should be more friendly.
Pros:

The hotel had an easy access by the car. It was close to the lake and we enjoyed the boat ride.

Cons:

The 2 rooms that we booked were very smelly. There were not enough supplies in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken and told the staff upon check out.

Disappointing, bad front office , kitchen did not have menu items

The kitchen staff were amazing and the suit room was big and clean

Cons:

The front office staff were the most inhospitable people I have ever met. The pool was a shocker..slimy water and the filter was not switched on one day. Even after informing front desk nothing happened.

Decent for a one-night stay but average food and services; didn’t meet expectations much.
Pros:

Had a decent one-night stay at Haveli Backwater Resorts. The property is fine but didn’t quite meet my expectations. Food options and room service were average, nothing exceptional. We had a suite room which was spacious, though the bed size felt small for a family of four. Since we spent most of our time outside, the stay worked out okay. I booked the property based on multiple recommendations; otherwise, I may have explored other options.
During my visit, I noticed several homestays along the backwaters that appeared more warm and inviting. In hindsight, I would have preferred a backwater property such as Sterling or Ramada, mainly for their strikingly beautiful locations. Overall, an acceptable stay for a short visit.

Staff are rude. They dont know what is hospitality. I had experienced the same with most of the resorts in Kerala. In this resort, upon arrival, we requested early check in by 1 hour but it was denied straight away even when lot of rooms were empty and already cleaned by that time. I think most will agree with me, especially when it comes to hotel/resorts, ppl love them when the management is flexible.
