Helpful staff.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

Cons:

Evening meal was mediocre. Had to wait an hour and then food was overcooked. Even the oven chips. Also, no remote for the TV.

Pros:

The location is beautiful, very welcoming staff, lovely gardens and the room was well fitted out.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better a bit overcooked, personally would go into Lyndhurst for breakfast.

Windows didn't stay open in the room, sashes need replacing,

Overpriced and needs an overhaul.

The bed was comfy and the room was a good size. Staff were lovely

Cons:

There was a water pump in the wardrobe that was very loud every time the taps were used or the toilet was flushed. The bathroom wasn’t particularly clean, there was a collection of dust/dirt in the corner. The whole bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade. One wall in the bedroom had what looked like damp on it but on closer inspection we think it might have been really badly painted. We ordered food in the restaurant and were told we couldn’t have the pepperoni pizza as there was not enough pepperoni, the alternative pizza had toppings that we couldn’t identify so didn’t eat.

A lovely get away.
Pros:

Loved the location. The staff were lovely as always. We have been before. The food was delicious.

Cons:

We found our bed uncomfortable. It was a little too hard for our liking. Apart from that everything was brilliant.

Fijne kamer, voor een mooie prijs
Pros:

Kamer was comfortabel, schoon en een fijn bed.
Hotel staat in een prachtige omgeving. Heerlijk om te wandelen met de hond.
Zelfs voor de hond wat lekkers op het menu.

Cons:

Beetje meer onderhoud aan het pand..

Fine and a lovely location
Pros:

We only stayed one night, it was a lovely location with the forest behind the hotel

Cons:

The bed was very hard and I didn't sleep well. It was a budget room to be honest but still expect a good sleep, bed could do with a good topper.

We had a lovely time especially sitting in the garden having drinks in the morning and evening.
Pros:

The location was fabulous, Tilly & Gina were very welcoming, helpful and lovely.

Cons:

There is no air conditioning, the hotel could do with a complete facelift, especially the windows, shower in Room 14, needs replacing as there is only a trickle of water that comes out of it, and you cannot adjust it. Going into the garden, the step down is high and could do with an additional step, some guest were struggling to get in and out.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. 1 ster voor dit hotel is voldoende. Te duur voor geleverde diensten
Pros:

De ligging in een rustige omgeving dichtbij de bossen en de grote tuin .
Propere kamers maar geen airco

Cons:

Het niet nakomen van gemaakte afspraak. Er werd ons twin room beloofd maar die was niet beschikbaar.
Heel pover ontbijt (beetje brood met beetje jam) en ook menukaart en opgediende gerechten lieten te wensen over. Ook personeel straalde niet veel enthousiasme uit.

Long and sweaty night but at least the sheets were clean.

Hotel was set in a lovely location, however the standards of the room was terrible!

Room was like a sauna! I appreciate it was a hot day however how hard would it have been to open a few window to ventilate the room? A few day prior to our arrival I had email hotel equiring about a fridge in the room which I was glad to hear however it really does help to have it switched on to be able to chill drinks and small amount of food. Not having to switch it on ourselves to hope and pray that it will be cold enough to keep stuff chill. Which it hadn't.
As for the bodge job of boarding out was just the beginning of the horrors inside!! From a mouldy crack tiled shower which the door we wouldn't close. the floorboard under the carpet flapping round like it's held by the carpet! Dare not to step on it fully. Paint work scratch throughout the room tons of dust behind the bed. I wouldn't normally check but had to plug in phone charger, socket loose behind the TV. The only saving grace with the room that the towels and linen was clean. Would have spoken to a staff member but being with three tired young boys I needed to get them to bed. When I spoke to the lady on reception in the morning she did no more then say sorry and that she will let the manger know. Not writing down a single point of what we complained about and belive me the list was long!
