The Purple Hotel by Ibiza Feeling - Adults only

Gianluca and staff were amazing. Hotel modern and clean with a lovely pool. A chilled ambiance in the chaos of San Antonio. Would stay here again.

I have been coming to The Purple for many years (since 2015). A nice small-scale hotel with a fantastic team led by Gianluca. This time I also stayed a few nights in the junior suite and here it went wrong.

The junior suite is a nice room in itself, but withan airconditioner that didn't work properly. This one knew only two positions, almost off or full gas. The automatic mode did not work. To get cool you had to sleep as if you were sleeping next to an airplane. In addition, it was freezing cold, so I caught a bad cold the first night. After reporting to the reception, which it reported to maintenance, the report came later that evening that it worked fine. Eventually had worthless nights in noise and alternating ice cold or sweating. This is outrageous for such an expensive room! Other rooms have a perfect air conditioner that works automatically. I also don't feel taken seriously by maintenance no solution, no compensation, nothing else has been made. I haven't had complaints in any of the years, but if you have a complaint, they don't do anything.

I’m not sure if I will come back again and thats a shame.

Very friendly and accomidating staff. We arrived very early, way before check-in, but we were made to feel welcome. We spend the time waiting for our room by the pool drinking sangrias. The room was clean and functional. The location was great, just a quick walk to the beach, Cafe del Mar, etc

Truly outstanding in every way. The design of the place, the music by the pool, the beautiful breakfast, all contribute to making this an exceptional hotel. But the real jewel in the crown is the entire staff team - Gianluca and every single other person working there knew me by name within about ten minutes of checking in; kind, funny (don’t get Gianluca started on Shakira!), thoughtful, couldn’t ask for more.

I also found the hotel really peaceful at night (maybe I was the last to get in from the club each night?!) - the clientele is really cool and grounded,

I will totally be staying here again next year.

What a little gem this hotel is! Mother superior is fabulous always keeping the guests entertained. Big shout out to Geo who literally can’t do enough for you and is always there asking if you are ok! What a credit he is to this hotel. We will definitely be returning. If you are looking for somewhere fun but chilled this is the place. Food is very good and cocktails are amazing and very well priced.

Gianluca and all the staff made us very welcome, and were attentive throughout. We were there for my bfs 50th ;) we had a lovely stay , felt valued and as a transwoman the check in was smooth and inclusive . Want to stay in San Antonio with cool gays , queers and allies ? We loved being greeted by Mother Superior Gianluca and a glass of something bubbly! Overall the hotel is lovely, we enjoyed our stay here. The pool area is better than the pics and Gio the waiter is so sweet. Thank you all!

It’s a simple budget hotel, but the AC works perfectly, the pool is nice and some of the kindest and friendliest staff ever

Highly recommend this hotel for the pool vibe with music . The food is superb, reasonably priced with excellent service. The manager is incredible and makes sure everyone has a fun time. Cocktails are the best. A fun place to relax too. Highly recommend

I've stayed at The Purple Hotel in Ibiza every year since 2018. Each stay has been an absolute pleasure and my most recent visit last week was no exception.

The hotel is so well managed by Gian Luca aka The Mother Superior, the place is spotlessly clean and nothing is too much bother for Gian Luca or his lovely staff.

Walking into the hotel feels like coming home. Highly recommended 😍

Where do I even start…? Everything (and I mean everything) was taken care of to the highest of standards. Before we even walked in the delightful smell from the lobby greeted us.

The hotel is impeccable inside and out. The staff are ALL outstanding…nothing is ever too much.

The rooms are spacious and clean and the maids are super attentive every day.

The breakfast choice is fantastic and everything we tried was delicious and plentiful! Coffee is always hit or miss whilst away but their coffees are perfect.

The pool area is amazing. Plenty choice of beds/seats/cabanas/shade. And the staff are quietly attentive.

Gianluca (Mother Superior) is the most fabulous hotelier we have ever met. His hotel is his baby and it shows. Anyone who walks through the door is treated like family. He and his staff made our break 🫶🏻

If you want a brilliant stay right in the centre of Ibiza then we would 1M% recommend The Purple.

This is a hidden gem for sure! Such a clean place that offers so much. Rooms are spacious with huge beds. Hotel staff cannot do enough for you, always willing to help and assist with anything. Offers a range of food for breakfast and lunch and all served fresh and promptly. Cocktails, hot drinks, soft drinks all on offer. Shower gel supplied in the room, fresh shower towels daily, beach and pool towels also provided free of charge. Such a lovely pool area too that is always peaceful. I will certainly be back to stay at this hotel as I couldn't fault anything! Missing Mother Superior and the team already! Kisses xx

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, including. The rooms were spotless, with fresh towels and bedding provided daily. The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from, and the cocktails were top-notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend! LGBTQ friendly…. Giani mother superior is the best host/hotel manager you will come across. Hotel is perfect!!!
