Exmouth Escape Resort

Liked everything the property offered, great location, quality in respect of all essentials and furnishings. Nice pool and dining facility. Whenever there was a minor problem e.g. with dishwasher attended to immediately and with no fuss.
Nothing to dislike.

Well appointed and comfortable property with everything one could need. Home from home.

Loverly room well thought out nice pool area easy to get around good location friendly staff resurant. Ran out of fresh seafood traveling to a seaside resort you would expect to have a better choice of fresh seafood

Relaxing place to stay

Property was great. Poor communication on available services in town.

Nice and quiet, clean and tidy, easy check-in, a little bit of a walk into downtown Exmouth - shame there is no courtesy bus or similar ( there appears to be only one cab in town which does not answer calls to book)

Well equipped villa for an active family.
2 Bedrooms/2 Bathrooms plus full Kitchen and Laundry Facilities.
A clothes line under the porch would be an asset for beach towels/bathers etc but not a deal breaker.
Complex was impeccably clean. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Close to the beach but probably a tad too far to walk if needing groceries etc from the shopping precinct - would need to drive.
Would recommend/stay again if in the area.

Very nice property and staff were excellent and friendly. Shower was a little grotty but otherwise very pleasant unit and the restaurant was top class

Not a lot of positive here. From when I arrived, staff quite rude, inflexible and condescending when an issue was reported.

My first room, did not have good air conditioning nor free to air even though it was advertised. The air conditioning was sorted to a flexible arrangement but I was told there was no free to air tv, despite a sign stating all the channels were available.

The next room did in fact have free to air channels which demonstrated the staffs knowledge and willingness to assist while I was in the first unit. This unit, however, was not clean. The shower floor was disgusting and full of limescale as it had not been cleaned properly over weeks and probably months.

Overall staff did not bother with anyone staying at this hotel. It is also a long walk to town and there is no shuttle bus operating like there is for the beachside resort. I had breakfast at the restaurant which I was told was exceptional but expensive. I was considerable underwhelmed after ordering scrambled eggs on toast. There was barely enough eggs scrambled to cover 3/4 of one of the pieces of toast given and 1 small butter provided for both. Not even close to being value for money.

Would I stay here again when I return next year, absolutely not. Potshot had everything this resort had with exception to a washing machine/dryer for better value, location, amenities and definitely customer service. There is also another beachside hotel that was incredible. Lesson learnt.

Lovely people and clean comfortable accommodation, except 1 air-conditioner did not work well.
