Very close to the hospital we're my wife had to be.
There was nothing I could say that I didn't like about the place.
Bathroom was well thought out for my daughter in a wheelchair….close to hospital.
We needed a place for all our kids to stay close to University Hospital where their grandpa was on life support!
Shout out to the great staff who worked with me in the middle of the night to mKe that happen!
Great location, easy to find, in a quiet area.
The hotel does not provide in room coffee or breakfast, so we chose a room with kitchen facilities. Some of the rooms do not come with a shower, so we chose this room because it came with a full bath and a queen bed. The room was more expensive, but we needed these conveniences. We basically chose this hotel due to its close proximity to London University Hospital since we had an early morning medical appointment.
When we first entered our room the air conditioning was set at 18 degrees C. The room was freezing, and we couldn't turn on the heat. When we asked the desk how to get the heat on they said to move the arrows up or down which we told her we had already done, to which she just responded that she didn't know how, but did not volunteer to send anyone to help. The tea towel that was left for use in the kitchen was soaking wet and we had to return it to the desk and ask for another. The hotel is very picky about guests soiling their linens, to the point that they have signs in the washroom requesting that guests use the provided makeup removers and have switched their face cloths to black ones that don't show any stains. As a result, we take our own. They only provide one key for the room which can often be inconvenient. Although we chose the most expensive room the hotel has to offer, the room is quite small with a table and 2 chairs that are squished into a corner of the room.
Location was good in terms if getting to western
Cleanliness of the room could be better. There were stains allover the walls.
Although I had shared washroom, there could be a mirror in the room.
Great location for western parents, laundry facilities, close to campus, no fuss accommodation.
Great place , friendly staff , and peaceful .
I rented a single queen bed with a full bath, and it was perfectly sized for me to have enough room to be comfortable without being ridiculously big. The location is only a short drive from downtown, which made it easy to get around without having to deal with constant traffic noise during the night. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were polite and accommodating.
The facilities seemed pretty outdated; my room had chipped paint and the soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. I also did not have a way to turn on the extractor fan for the shower. No peephole on the inside of the room's door either, and no additional interior latch or chain to secure the door besides the automatic handle lock. The balcony was also very run down and unwelcoming, more just a concrete patio with peeling paint and no furniture.
