Quiet cliffside gem
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at Lagun Blou. We went for diving and the quiet cliffside location. The resort property and landscape were beautiful. The pools were perfect after diving. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the property was secure. We enjoyed both restaurants nearby and the great cliff breezes that kept us cool. We could dive and snorkel right from the dock. We would definitely stay again the next visit.

O hotel é incrível, um paraíso na terra, as fotos não fazem jus a beleza do lugar! Atendimento da Cecília foi muito bom, conseguimos estender o check out para aproveitar a praia ao lado
Não tem restaurante na propriedade então não tem café da manhã, almoço e janta, fomos ao mercado antes e cozinhamos no apartamento, logo ao lado tem duas opções de restaurante mas não servem café da manhã
Vale a pena demais a estadia, pretendo voltar!

World class sea water swimming

Pros:

The property is a slice of paradise! The island itself is not what you would describe as tropical, very arid with thorny bushes and cactus. However, within the complex, the owner has created a lush, colorful tropical space with palm trees, fountains, pools and bubble spa. If overlooks the ocean from a steep coral cliff, which is the view we had every morning when we woke. It is quiet, serene and safe, with the owners on site and super friendly!

Incredible views and beautiful gardens. Our property (no. 10) was really nicely refurbished with comfortable beds and very spacious kitchen/sitting area. We were not bothered by lack of air conditioning downstairs as we spent most of our time outside.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The location of our unit overlooking Playa Lagun was absolutely perfect. We loved the sunbeds and chairs overlooking the ocean and the stairs going into the water was perfect for snorkeling. We were also happy that barbecues were available for our use. We had a great stay and I would love to come back here one day.

This property is gorgeous! The grounds are atunning with flowers, trees, coral croppinga of areas to lounge lookong out over the sea, and a lovely bubbler bath. Our favorite thing was probably bwing able to climb a few steps down to a dock we could snorkel right off of into some amazong coral.
That said, the actual apartments are lacking a lot. There is only AC in the upstairs bedroom, which we knew, expected, and were ok with. However, the basic amenities are meager. There are no paper towels, no kleenex, minimal utensils/plates/bowls, etc. The instructions we were greeted with were also minimal. Our doors did not open and close easily and the furniture on the back porch is not in keeping with the rest of the properrty. Our welcome sheet informed us breakfast would be served from 8:30-? in the garden. We never saw a meal served. We also noticed the main pool was never cleaned and the bar was only operating 1 or 2 of the nights we were there. Overall the place is desirable because of location ans grounds. Know that you will need to hit a GOOD grocery (Carrefour) in Willenstad before heading north as the stores have meager offerings. There are restaurants roght there and more in Westpunt, but for breakfast, snacks, etc it is better to come prepared. It is quiet and beautiful! A great olace to unwind. Watch for jellyfish in the lagun bay.

Just a feedback. I think they could offer a better mattress. For me was thinner than I used to. Still we had great sleep time.

Beautiful property on a great snorkeling and diving beach. Units are comfortable, clean, and cute. (Our three bedroom was quite large). Grounds are beautiful— be sure to check out the cliffside hot top. You can walk down to the beach or swim off their small dock. Friendly staff. We wish we’d spent our entire time on the island here.

Limited check in hours and water doesn’t get very hot (expected for the area and type of lodging). So, probably good to know that beforehand.

The grounds are Gorgeous and the convenience to diving perfect! We had breakfast and dinner there a few nights and it was delicious! Shout out to Brian for those fantastic meals.
We are scuba divers so having the dive shop in property with one of the best shore dives right off their dock was phenomenal. We even went on a lionfish spear fishing hunt.
The only minus points I would give would be that the ac is only in the upstairs bedroom. We never stayed downstairs bc it was so hot that we kept both the front and back doors open for a breeze. But we weren’t in the room during the day since we were out shore diving and exploring.
Also, the rooms could use a major update, but the grounds and staff were fantastic!

Loved the grounds, peaceful tranquil, views of the ocean, access to the ocean from a platform, great fish dinner, fresh caught. The owners live right at the property had limited service hours open. The room cleaning service less frequent than the every other day promised, bed-towels and trash only done once in 7 days. You need a car for sure as only 3 restaurants and no grocery stores near by

By far our favourite stay on the island! The family-like nature and the care that Orlando and Joyce put into the place is outstanding. Our sunset swims every evening were a highlight because of the ocean access and location of the property. Could not recommend more highly!

This place is an absolute gem!! The owners live right on the property and were very welcoming, even to my parents who were staying at the neighboring property. Our fridge wasn't working the first day and they addressed it right away and brought us a new fridge. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the views spectacular. I hope to go back one day!!
