Kouprey Hotel is a little garden paradise with a really pleasant and comitted staff.
Pros:

The staff was very attentive to my needs and served me a special 'western' breakfast every day including bacon, eggs, ham. The property is basically a well tended garden with a mix of trees and vegetation. The view from my balcony room was just a nice green canopy through which I could see the crystal clear pool. Drinking water is free - they use glass bottles and provide filling stations - and on several occasions they left me fresh fruit with a personalized note. If you have your own moto, there is lots of parking with shade and also full time security. The staff were always pleasant and respectful and interested in asking me if my needs were being met. You can see they are trained to prioritize their guests and show them they care. It is noted by me and also appreciated too. Thank you everyone - I miss you already!

Cons:

I like the location but many tourists would not as its a bit further from the hub of excitement and too far to walk to pub St - but there are lots of places to find food on foot, even a very good Khmer BBQ just 2 minutes away - Heng Heng. So, for me, I liked the location because its a short tuk tuk ride, and/or you can use a moto like I did.
What Kouprey could improve would easily be acheived but would cost a bit of money of course. The beds are typical in Cambodia but they are a bit hard and could benefit from a softer topper for more sleeping comfort. (the bedding is good and clean) The water is noticeably brown, and if it runs on a white wash cloth it even leaves a stain. I think this has to do with the storage tanks, not necessarily the water in the ground. If I am right, They should flush their tanks - or line them - or replace them with stainless steel.
I dont like having to leave such a great review because this place offers very excellent value for money and I would prefer to keep that little secret to myself. Next time I come I am sure the prices will be higher, because I tell the world how great you are - but I must do what is right and give the praise where it is deserved. Again - well done everyone on the Kouprey team - ah kun.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The pool is large, well-maintained, and beautifully set among lush greenery, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy throughout the entire day. The rooms are spacious and offer a beautiful garden view, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, kind, and helpful, and the quiet surroundings make it easy to truly unwind.
There is a well-stocked supermarket nearby where you can find everything you need. The hotel is a bit further from the city center, but thanks to that, it’s a perfect place to relax away from the noise. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it.

Cons:

Breakfasts were mainly based on local cuisine, which might be a bit heavy for guests who are not used to it. The toast with jam and fresh fruit were a option and helped balance things out. It would be wonderful if a few more light, more “continental-style” breakfast options could be added, to better suit different tastes and preferences.

Very great value for money.
Pros:

Off the road and the business of the city centre and pub st. The property is full of vegetation and beautiful flowering plants. Buffet is not great however they will cook you (their version of) an American breakfast including bacon and eggs. I loved the view from my room window. Staff is very nice and accommodating.

Cons:

The water is a bit discoloured - the bed is a bit hard - the bedding could be newer even though it was clean.

Very good location!

It was a quite, beautiful surrounding, a wonderful pool and a good location for the brakfast as well as for the restaurant.

Cons:

the room was somewhat dark - but then agin I was only there to sleep and change - so it wasnt an issue
