Reception staff was cooperative

Cons:

Room size and bathroom was stinking. Food is not good . We ordered the food for dinner. Breaowas also average compared to other GRT locations.

Not good and cannot recommend to a friend.
Pros:

A short but very Pleasant stay
Pros:

THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! Both during the Dinner and Breakfast, the food served for extremely good. Called the chef to convey our appreciation. the rooms were neat, clean and effective.

Cons:

For a double occupancy room, the personal effects were just one, . Could have been 2, one for each person!

Exceptional rooms out of town
Pros:

They renovated the place (I have been coming annually for ten years) and the quality of the room is now comparable to good middle-priced hotels in Europe or the US. The staff is exceedingly courteous and plentiful. I paid 3,900 rupees per night, which is a bargain for this level of comfort. Shout-out to the IT manager, who apparently is responsible for the music selection in the restaurant. 1960s pre-electric jazz!

Cons:

What one saves for the room is then recaptured by the prices in the restaurant. They may be ok for a Radisson in Chennai or Mumbai but are way too high in Tuticorin, where I could get the same for half the price in town. 760 rupees for breakfast with filter coffee is shameful. My bill for meals for two full days came to 6,000 rupees, which is almost the cost of the room. And the food quality is ok, but not that great. The smile of the waitress though is. ;)

Comfortable and convenient

The flyover construction work going on the highway in front of the hotel

Pros:

The rooms and service are very good with very good buffet breakfast with wide spread.

Cons:

The extra cot provided was rusted and not very comfortable. It was not upto expected standards
