Beautiful and relaxing! Tropical paradise!!
Pros:

My husband and I have stayed at the Island City House many times. It is always our "go to" accomodations when visiting Key West. We've stayed at all three buildings in the complex and have been very satisfied with each of them. The main house is our favorite only because we enjoy the historic aspect of the original hotel. The courtyard is beautiful with private sitting areas and a great pool.
The property is centrally located to everything but far enough off Duval St that it is very quiet. We walk all over the island from this location.

Cons:

We have no dislikes. That's why we keep returning.

Tropical oasis, close to everything.
Pros:

Everything was beautiful. A little tropical oasis, very close and within walking distance to most restaurants and venues. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Especially Carolina!!! We will go back again, definitely.

Spectacular
Pros:

Our stay was spectacular—the grounds with a beautiful garden and fountain, the pool oasis, and the beautiful suite with its own veranda. We will be back!

Relaxing oasis in Old Town Key West
Pros:

Had a very comfortable stay in the King Porch suite on the 3rd floor of the Island City House - good sized sitting room/eat-in kitchen/bedroom. We loved having the porch to sit outside and listen to the wind rustling through the palm trees and the water gurgling in the fountains. The room faces the back of the house, overlooking the gardens, so you are away from the street (although William Street is not that busy or noisy) - the room was very quiet.
The gardens were relaxing, and we enjoyed meeting the resident cat, Bert. We would definitely go back!
Recommend the Eaton Street Seafood Market (across the street) for a casual meal, and Date & Thyme for lunch + the Old Town Bakery. Had delicious meals also at 7 Fish and Cafe Sole, and a lovely breakfast at Sarabeth's.

Hotel centenário surpreendente e confortável.
Pros:

Construção centenária bem interessante e muito conservada com um jardim e fonte d'água bastante agradáveis. A localização é excelente a cerca de dez minutos caminhando do centrinho.

Cons:

Apesar do apartamento ser bastante confortável e ter um espaço para cozinha com toda estrutura, a falta do café da manhã decepciona um pouco. Por outro lado, o voucher dá oportunidade de conhecer a padaria, que tem produtos de qualidade e um capuccino gostoso.

Pros:

Dissapointments, bed, flooring dirty. Carpet rug dirty. Blinds did not fit the windows, not sure if alarms worked no way to test.
The rooms are aged. Location was good.
Had to leave 1 day early due to catastrophic weather alert, staff had no sympathy not any consideration, response was corporate policy. That's very disappointing to know it's all corporate driven.about fees. Would rather vacation through private hosts next time.
The attitude of staff is rude as if there doing the customer's a favor..
Not at all pleased with the room accommodations.

Cons:

Not clean. Unprofessional staff.bed not comfortable. Hole caving on mattress. Blinds not fitting windows,room, everything is aged. The toilets are midget size.

Great location and Key West vibe
Pros:

Great location, beautiful grounds and heated pool, historic architecture, very friendly and helpful staff. We didn’t really mind, but the two staircases and narrow doorway would have been difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Pros:

Le lieu, le personnel très chaleureux et accueillant, la position de l'hôtel, le calme, le coupon pour aller s'acheter à manger dans une très bonne boulangerie le matin mais les 5$ offerts font très radin vu le prix de la nuit.

Cons:

Le prix est exorbitant mais c'est malheureusement comme ça dans tout key west.
L'eau de la piscine qui n'était pas très chaude, pas idéal pour les frileux.

Pros:

The location and the garden sitting area. The pool was nice. The towels were good and replenished often.

Cons:

Very loud with traffic and trash cans twice a week. Pictures of the place were not accurate. Much smaller than anticipated especially for two couples. Hooks on walls and or doors would have been helpful. No place to put suitcases.
