A complete disappointment.

I have stayed in many hotels in many different parts of the world, and on this website I have already reached the highest available level. However, unfortunately, this stay was one of the worst among them. I have to say this with regret: I have never seen a hotel where there wasn’t even soap for handwashing in the room or shampoo for use in the bathroom.

It wasn’t a place i will go again

It had a pool

The rooms smelled like pee and weed, the shower hardly worked, the bed sheets had stains on them, the dressers wouldn’t hardly open, we booked a stay to be Beachside, but was placed on the north side so we had to walk across the street, overall was a terrible experience

Pros:

I booked about as last minute as possible and ended up in the rooms across the street. However the location was still amazing and we could still even see the ocean from our room. Really short walk to the beach.

Cons:

The only complaint I’d have is the appliances in the room are definitely a little dated. However everything worked fine.

Would’ve been great with hotel update
Pros:

It was in a great location & were able to use the amenities of the beach side hotel. Didn’t hear a lot of noise, except for couple loudly arguing, slamming doors, etc at 3 am in the morning!

Cons:

It was old and really needs to be updated!!!

The hotel was conveniently right on the beach. The staff was nice.

Cons:

My room was very dated. I stayed in the property across from the beach. The indoor pool area had very low lighting. It was very uninviting. If I stay again, it will definitely be at the main building on the beach.

Great location but very run down
Pros:

We stayed at Palmetto for Gulf Coast jam and the location was great. Right on the beach, close to fun bars for after parties. The cleaning staff were very friendly and beach staff were lovely and and made sure we had beds and parasols set up. The washing machines and driers on site were helpful.

Cons:

There are two sections to this hotel, if you book a room with no sea view, you get put in the suites across the road which are way more run down than the photos would lead you to believe. The room was very dated with paint peeling off the walls and the bathroom smelt like urine all the time.

First time and last for us
Pros:

Absolutely nothing. After seeing this place up close I honestly felt like I was seeing something completely opposite from all the pictures advertised. Stayed only one night and certainly wouldn’t go back. Very disappointed!

Cons:

Sheets & pillows were stained and dirty. Roaches in kitchen!!
