Easy beach access, pool never closes and you can bring drinks/food to the pool area.
Only one working elevator during the busiest time of year.
I loved everything. Only complaint was only 1 elevator was working.
1 Elevator wasn't working
Make sure to check whether or not your room will have a view before booking. Rooms are close to $150+ a night and if you book a room on the "north side" you will have to walk across a main busy street to get to the main building/beach access. A room on the north side will also require you walking up a flight of steps if you're on the second floor facing the street, as there is no elevator.
Our room had a ceiling tile falling down in the bathroom. After a visit to the front desk, a request was put in to maintenance to come and fix it, instead of being placed in another room. Front desk manager walked off and out the front door while we were still standing there, and had the seemingly new employee, put in the request. No ETA was given on the maintenance request. We will be staying 3 nights so it's not starting off well.
Mattress on Motel side was old and slept like it hadn't been replaced ever. There are no phones, so in order to reach the front desk you'll have to get up and walk across the street. Indoor pool looks haunted, with no ventilation. This "North side" is honestly just throwed together. No one in their right mind would purposefully book a room over here, but of course the breakdown/ explanation of where exactly your room is isn't sent to you until After you book the room. It should be in big bold letters on the booking page. The "North side" isn't a side at all, it's a completely separate Motel across from the actual Beachfront Hotel.

Northside looks very old and unkept. My room had cockroaches in the kitchen. Very bad experience
Walking distance to beach
The public parking to pay for in the guest parking. Almost didn’t have a space to park when arriving after a 13 hour drive. It also was maintained but ran down.
