No shuttle service
Pros:

Don’t advertise you have a 24 hour shuttle running every 20-30 minutes if you cannot deliver on your promises… we arrived at the airport around 10pm… waited and waited at the correct pickup spot but no luck. Called the hotel front desk and was told there was traffic so it was taking a little longer…. Mind you the hotel is literally 7 minutes away by bus/car from the pickup spot…. We waited another 20 minutes or so, called into again, and were told the same story… ended up taking a $30 cab. When arriving at the hotel, told the front desk we didn’t get a shuttle and again they tried to explain the traffic…. There was no traffic…. We got there in no time with the uber… so disappointed!

Saved in the middle of the night! Residence Inn at LAX
Pros:

We had a family emergency and arrived in LAX in the wee hours of the morning. Things were chaotic and we were frazzled but Yanni with Residence Inn took excellent care of us! She made sure that we were set up in a comfortable room and extended our reservation. We will definitely be staying here whenever we are in Los Angeles!

Sliding downhill
Pros:

This hotel used to be our go to in LA but it is going downhill. We arrived at midnight and our room was not ready! They are really skimping on breakfast: eliminated waffles and English muffins. Shuttle takes forever. Lots of choices near the airport: skip this one.

My new go to
Pros:

I come back to visit family in LA a lot and I have stayed at a lot of hotels. Some good ones and some bad ones but residence inn is my new go to. It’s close to the airport, and places to eat. The staff were very friendly, the hotel and room were clean and comfortable. I like when I went to my room, the tv screen had ‘Welcome and my name.’ Nice welcoming touch.

Breakfast was ok but service is only till 9 and not a minute longer. Because it’s an airport hotel there wasn’t a huge choice for dinner
