Niet schoon = niet tevreden. Klein kan maar schoon is belangrijk.

Locatie, tuin voor het ontbijt

Cons:

Kakkerlak op de kamer. Kamer niet goed schoon. Grootte van de kamer, vooral badkamer. Is niet te doen.

Bon emplacement et rapport qualité/prix pour le festival d'Avignon
Pros:

Super studio avec terrasse, personnel sympathique, possibilité de laisser ses bagages avant et après, à 5-10 min de la gare et du centre ville.

Cons:

C'était très bien mais la salle de bain était un peu serrée.

The hotel is conveniently located on the southwestern edge of the old town, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in the world. It's a five-minute walk to the “Centre” train station. The air conditioning worked well; the room and bathroom are on the small side, but that's often the case in France. Best seen on the attached fotos. The hotel is a solid mid-range option.

Cons:

The Rhône River is also just 200 meters away—perhaps the reason why I had to swat a pesky mosquito in the night before it could bite me. In Avignon, as in the entire south of France, there is a local risk of tropical diseases such as dengue fever, chikungunya fever, and West Nile fever from May through November due to the Asian tiger mosquito. Soundproofing towards the hallway is poor. This time, I had to leave my fairly compact folding bike in a storage room across from the front desk on the ground floor—at least I got a receipt for it. The next morning I got it back.

Chambre propre et confortable. Petit Déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Jardin sympa où se poser. Je recommande cet établissement.

Chambre sans clim, odeurs d'égout dans la chambre, lavabo quasiment bouché, prise USB ne marche pas ... ça fait beaucoup !
Je continue à aller au Face Ouest au Pontet, beaucoup moins cher avec des services irréprochables.

Appena fuori le mura, posizione buona. Colazione buona, anche se minimalista. Personale cordiale, nonostante non avessero trovato subito la prenotazione

Pulizia del bagno rivedibile, capelli in doccia. Pulizia della struttura non impeccabile. Dimensioni del bagno: decisamente troppo piccolo.

Overnight in Avignon
Pros:

The hotel has the advantage of being located very close to the southern edge of the city center and the “Centre” train station on a busy street. The room was well soundproofed against outside noise. The air conditioning, which I set to 25 degrees Celsius, handled the hot temperatures of the June heat wave well, and the bed was comfortable. The room and adjoining bathroom were sufficiently spacious by French standards, though not large.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the soundproofing wasn’t good for the noise coming from the hallway. As a result, the quality of sleep depends heavily on the behavior of other guests returning late at night.
Hotel prices in Avignon can vary by more than a factor of two; just a few weeks later, during the theater festival, I saw prices that were twice as high.
