Excellent breakfast in a remarkable room
No complaints
Lovely
Nothing
Service , staff friendliness, breakfast, Room cleanliness.
Room was warm, being able to open the windows wide and having a fan in the room as standard helped.
Athough we had a short stay in the Ruthland Arms Hotel, we loved it. It was a perfect base to explore the surroundings, the Chatsworth House. The hotel has a very beautiful interior, we loved the dining area as well. Highly recommend to have your breakfast and dinner in the hotel, it was delicious.
I have always wanted to stay in this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The historic building is beautiful inside and out with cheery approachable staff and absolutely exquisite food. Our room was supremely comfortable and breakfast was utter perfection. Zero imperfections at the Rutland Arms Hotel Bakewell.
Leaving.
Loved the character, location was great
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean. Food was very good.
The room was incredibly warm, overbearing at times. A Dyson fan would have been helpful and would have made it more comfortable. Not a lot of parking, had to park in the local car parks which were a little expensive.
location in Bakewell perfect
location within Peak District perfect
Unfortunately room on 2nd floor in main building was hot but given the exceptional hot weather we have had that was to be expected
Location perfect. Very cosy, got everything you need.. Food in the restaurant was very good….
Traffic noise in our room, but that is due to the central location.
Well located and fabulous decor and atmosphere. The staff were lovely and the breakfast the nicest hotel breakfast I’ve had in years. Cooked to order and full of flavour. We will definitely be going back.
Nothing.
Great location great staff wonderful breakfast
Small room Lots of stairs
Excellent location
We had a nice room overlooking the gardens. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere in the restaurant, bar and patio, and the staff were helpful.
Unfortunately there was inadecuate preparation for the heatwave we experienced, with no air conditioning or ceiling fans in the bedrooms, and only a tiny desktop fan for 2 people sharing.
Location
Room was hot, little ventilation possible, bed passable, water pressure in shower unacceptably low, in fact awful!
