Fabulous as always
Pros:

It’s such a pleasure to stay. Nothing is too much for staff, they are all so nice. Reception - a lovely welcome and goodbye, very helpful. Breakfast the most lovely gentleman front of house

Cons:

Squeaky bathroom door. Positioning of soaps & shower gels well away from the shower on a shelf & next to a price list for them!! makes you a bit wary to use them.

Wonderful place to stay
Pros:

The staff, especially the lady on reception, were lovely - friendly, helpful and really wanted you to enjoy your stay.
The hotel itself had lots of areas to relax in (it rained most of the time we were there).
The restaurant was excellent, beautifully decorated, plenty of space between tables and comfortable chairs. The food and service were extremely good.
Excellent location, right in the middle of town.
We have booked to stay at Xmas, so that shows how much we enjoyed it.

Cons:

Our room, although tastefully decorated and with a comfortable bed, was too small. We like to have two easy chairs to sit on which this room didn't have. Also we think there should have been complimentary shower gel, not just the option to buy. Maybe if shower gel were to be provided guests might be encouraged to buy what is on offer.

Lovely hotel and absolutely excellent staff - highly recommended
Pros:

The room and hotel was really comfortable, very well-kept and clean, and was in a perfect location. However the most outstanding part of the hotel was the staff, particularly the restaurant staff and management - they looked after us so well and genuinely seemed to care that we had a lovely time, especially as it was a birthday occasion. I would say that the customer service and professionalism of the staff at the hotel was probably the best I have come across and I would highly recommend staying.

Cons:

It's hard to fault anything with this lovely hotel as we had a wonderful stay.

We will be back!
Pros:

Lovely charactar ful hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. The restaurant is very efficient and the dinner was excellent.
The de luxe room was very good clean and comfortable with all teas, coffees etc.
Perfect location right inbthe centre of town but quiet rooms.

Cons:

There is no lift so two flights of stairs but we were assisted in getting our bags upstairs. We managed to get the last parking space by arriving 30 mins early but this could have been an issue for us in our 70s.
