Pros:

Athough we had a short stay in the Ruthland Arms Hotel, we loved it. It was a perfect base to explore the surroundings, the Chatsworth House. The hotel has a very beautiful interior, we loved the dining area as well. Highly recommend to have your breakfast and dinner in the hotel, it was delicious.

The hotel overall was lovely but let down by the lack of parking and heat in the room. It’s seemed to be above something
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean. Food was very good.

Cons:

The room was incredibly warm, overbearing at times. A Dyson fan would have been helpful and would have made it more comfortable. Not a lot of parking, had to park in the local car parks which were a little expensive.

Pros:

We had a nice room overlooking the gardens. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere in the restaurant, bar and patio, and the staff were helpful.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was inadecuate preparation for the heatwave we experienced, with no air conditioning or ceiling fans in the bedrooms, and only a tiny desktop fan for 2 people sharing.
