Terrapuri Heritage Village

Extended my stay and that explains it all.

Truly admire the work and dedication put in to preserve the traditional heritage houses. I had a lovely stay at beautiful Setiu and wish to thank the team for their warm hospitality.

Mooi locatie met gerestaureerd Maleisisch huizen tussen de 100 en 200 jaar oud.Mooi ingericht en zeer comfortabel.Hulpzaam,hartelijk en zeer vriendelijke personeel.

Dejligt sted til fordybelse og ro. Meget venligt og imødekommende personale. En stor oplevelse at bo i de historiske rammer og stadigvæk have moderne bekvemmeligheder. Ligger langt væk fra nærmeste by, så evt. indkøb bør foretages på vejen dertil. Beliggenheden gør også at der ikke er noget net. Stedet kan varmt anbefales.

Wunderbare, geschichtsträchtige Unterkunft. Sehr ruhige, abgeschiedene Lage zwischen Wetlands und Meer. Leider ohne Wlan. Kommunikation auf Englisch und innerhalb des Terrapuri Teams recht schwierig. Miauende Katzen beim Essen. Angebot beim Frühstück könnte hochwertiger und ausgewogener sein angesicht des Preises.

Love the place. Beautifully restored old kampung houses bringing back nostalgic memories of my childhood. In a quiet corner of Terengganu with long stretch of beaches just for yourself

Wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the simple life

Wunderschöne Anlage mit herrlichem Pool und historischen Häusern. Der wunderbare Garten und die Lage sind richtig zum Ausspannen und Seele baumeln lassen. Jedes einzeln stehende Haus hat eine Terrasse und ein riesengroßes Bad mit einer Holzbadewanne.
Das Personal ist sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht.

Wunderbare einsame Anlage an einem Traumstrand. Einzigartige Bungalows mit tollem Bad und riesiger Veranda.
Einzig der Frühstücks und Abendessensservice sind noch verbesserungsfähig. Auch sind die Preise für Abendessen und Getränke in der Anlage sehr hoch. Besser im naheliegenden Ort in der Beach Boxx essen. Dort ist der Service top und die Preise Landes typisch sehr niedrig

L endroit est situé en face d une plage .C'est un hôtel typique très jolie et bien entretenu néanmoins après une nuit nous avons quitté l endroit car trop de moustiques
lors du repas pris le soir de notre arrivée nous avons écourté le repas et dans notre logement nous avons du dormir 2h en tout
il y faisait très chaud malgré une climatisation et un ventilateur.
Nous avons quitté le logement le lendemain matin pour prendre un autre hôtel
Je tiens à dire que notre hote était très gentil et que cet hôtel convient aux personnes qui souhaitent un environnement calme .

We loved our stay for one night. The service was wonderful and we slept well. These are old Malay huts so don’t expect anything different. Wonderful unique experience for a couple or single. No TV, traffic or noice. Very calming. Pool and breakfast were terrific. Beach was fantastic.

A fantastic experience. Be aware that this is not a normal star rating hotel / resort. Good memories indeed

We wanted to visit the east coast on a long weekend, we decided not to take a ferry, then this hotel seems to be a good choice. We drove 5hours from KL in a excellent route. But, the hotel is very limited, for that money I was really expecting some much nicher. Having been in several places in Malaysia and South East Asia, for that money you have to receive much more... food is very limited, service takes hours. Not service at the beach.... good retreat for sleeping, but no more. You can do that at home without paying and driving.

The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The location is great for a relaxing break and with easy access to the islands. Unfortunately in the blurb regarding the hotel it stated no children this is not the case, although it had little impact on our stay. The room was beautiful and very clean. The food was enthusiastically prepared but rather random with limited choice.

Amazing experience of staying in a luxury fireshermen hut. Excellent location secluded from rest of the area. Very quiet and comfortable. Dont expect gourmet food. Availability of wifi will spoil your experience as you would be too busy posting updates online instead of appreciating and enjoying all the beauty that is in front of you. Take the time out to ram around the village. Enjoy meals in different locations of the villge everyday. Request the hotel to cook local food for you which is much better than any continental cuisine. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. This is definitely one of the top spots to visit on Peninsular Malaysia.

a very relaxing stay !

Beautiful place but very remote. Food not great but plenty of it. Staff friendly but initial welcome a little lacking. Mosquitoes were a constant distraction ensure you take insect repellent. Loved the history of the buildings.

My wife and I stayed at Terrapuri for three nights during a long holiday weekend. The staff were excellent and very attentive. If you're looking for a place away from all distractions, this is the place for you. However, be warned that the rooms are sparsely furnished and the A/C is inadequate. It was OK at night, but during the day, the room was extremely hot. You also need to be careful not not bring any food inside, as it will attract lots of ants.
