Comfortable and good food.

It was good that you did not have walk through the bar to get to the rooms. Hotel was quiet up in the rooms even though there was a band playing and a function being held.

The Staff were very helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. I was very happy with my stay at the Nightcap at the Charles Hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Okay if you get a good deal
Pros:

Good location and accommodating staff

Cons:

Not good value for money at all. The hotel is above a bar and the walls have poor soundproofing. It was loud all night and didn't feel too safe or secure. The room was also not too clean.

Although beds were comfortable I was very disappointed with some parts of the room not being clean

The beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Closet and some parts of the carpet were very dusty. I used the iron and it had dust all over it. In the early morning, got woken up by the next rooms occupants turning on their shower and also could hear clearly voices talking out in the corridor. Hotel had no elevator.

Great for the price would stay again
Pros:

I liked the location . Up high in my room great views It had a nice bathroom and was roomy . Two double beds a bonus tv . Spacious . Plenty of restaurants near . Local shops and train

Cons:

Only thing for me the mattress was far too soft . I sunk into it . But that’s all . Very clean so was happy

Great value for money and comfortable amenities.
Pros:

The room we were given was so spacious. It was two queen beds but seperated by a wall which gave privacy between the parents bed and children's bed. They also give you two free drink cards and 10% off bistro and the food is delicious. In addition they put in the fridge free water as well which is great

Suitable for what we needed. The stay was comfortable enough and reasonably priced for the long weekend.
Pros:

The location was great!!! So close to supermarkets and the sporting complex that we needed to attend each day.
Shower pressure was good and air con was warm. Complimentary water and soft drink was a nice extra.
Staff seemed nice.

Cons:

Basic- only kettle and fridge. Had to open door all the way to get into the room.
