Ardboyne Hotel

The breakfast included with the stay was amazing!

This is a homely hotel where the staff could not be nicer. The bar food is excellent. Bedroom was very comfortable. Conference facilities were very good. It is an ideal location on the outskirts of Navan.

Entered bar with a sign "wait to be seated", so we did, only to be given menus and told to seat ourselves, no explanation as this is highly unusual as have been on numerous occasions and never greeted with an attitude like this and then accused by Bar Manager when paying for food of calling staff member "a snob"when conversation was taken out of context by someone at another table listening , we had been dicussing something else entirely. Highly unprofessional by manager to approach us at the bar in front of other members of the public, disgusting behaviour, they need to get a more mature staff working in general and know how to treat public.

I stayed at the Ardboyne Hotel for nearly two weeks during a very difficult time in my life while attending a court case. From the moment we arrived, the staff had been nothing short of amazing.
Their kindness, compassion and genuine support have meant more than I can put into words. They have made both myself and my daughter feel safe, welcome and genuinely cared for. It truly feels like a family community here rather than just a hotel.
A very special thank you to Teresa, who checked in with us at the end of each day — that meant more than she probably knows. To Kealy at reception for her constant kindness and reassurance. To Molly at the bar for her warmth and friendliness. To Shirley who sorted out our accommodation and to all of the wonderful staff who have shown such understanding and support throughout our stay.
During a stressful and emotional period, having such thoughtful people around us has made all the difference. We are incredibly grateful — thank you all so much.

The food served in the bar was very good and good menu choice.

Everyone is so amazing 🤩 friendly. Atmosphere is amazing the staff go above and beyond to help. The food is amazing. Breakfast anything you want and extras if still hungry. Rooms are so comfortable relaxing 😌 this place is always my favorite ❤️

Looks a 4star when inside very elegant reception area and around hotel.
However bedrooms let this hotel down a lot they are not 4star standard.
The colour scheme is not correct nothing matches
The bathroom needs a lot updating

No toilet roll holder
Towels were hard & like hand towels instead of bath towels
No tissues holder empty
The only positive was a magnifying mirror on wall &
Shower was powerful.
The bedroom closet door did not close as it had dropped
The mirror on Wall was to high to sit on a seat to look through.
The drawers were hard to open.
In my opinion you need a interior designer to look at your bedrooms plus you need to maintenance them.
The food for dinner was okay but the potato was dry and we couldn't eat it.
Not a great menu either had a lot of spicy dishes but not ideal for anyone that cannot eat spicy food.
The breakfast was good apart from the bacon which was to thick and hard to chew, but hard to get service staff to ask for anything.
As this was for my hubby's birthday I wanted it to be perfect I did appreciate the balloons and chocolate 🍓 in our room. If we stay again I would want a better more upgraded room.

Lovely staff and very clean

Overall nice place to stay. Clean rooms. Although room was a bit noisy. The bunk beds were also very creaky and the mattresses need updating (springs uncomfortable!). But nice for children to have their own beds. Nice view of the lovely garden from the room. Excellent dinner and breakfast (hot food made to order). Good free car parking. Staff very friendly. Good location for a stop off.

The staff at the hotel are friendly. It is clean and in a good location. We didn't enjoy the food but other than that it was a relaxing experience. The town has a good variety of shops.

The reception area is warm and inviting and staff were all helpful and friendly. The bar is really cosy and inviting.

The room was clean and comfortable but needed a few touch ups on the wall and in the bathroom. No toiletries available in the bathroom which would really elevate your stay. The pillows were really uncomfortable and flat and even 2 didn’t so the job. Breakfast was made to order and tasty with good service.

There is no soundproofing and it is quite noisy so definitely bring earplugs.

Overall a nice stay for a night if you are in the area.
