Comfy. Spacious
Pros:

Beds were comfy and rooms great size

Cons:

Took them an hour and 15 mins to get our room ready was told both times that it was waiting for inspection ended up having to ask when it was going to be done as we were running behind for an event

Extremely disappointed—Stained sheets and zero response from management and no WiFi

Cons:

We traveled from very far away for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia, and unfortunately, this stay was a major letdown.
Upon check-in, we were shocked to find the bedsheets were dirty and covered in stains. We had to ask for them to be changed immediately. The carpets also had significant staining, and the room looked absolutely nothing like the beautiful photos on the booking website.
Since we were only there for two nights, we expected at least basic service, but our room wasn’t cleaned or serviced at all. This was especially frustrating because we explicitly turned on the 'Please make up the room' sign, yet it was completely ignored. When we called reception at 7 pm when we returned to the room to let them know the room hadn't been touched, they simply said there was nothing they could do because housekeeping had gone home. They didn't even say it pleasantly - they just didn't seem to care at all. On top of that, the WiFi didn’t work. It’s incredibly disappointing to pay this price when the most basic amenities - like a clean room and internet - aren't even provided.
After I demanded to speak to the manager at check out the hotel said that they will reach out to me and they did after a few days. The hotel reached out to offer a discount on a future stay, but since we have already left the country and won't be returning to Australia ever, a discount is completely useless to us. I replied explaining this and requested a partial refund for the lack of service, but the hotel has completely ignored my email and provided no further response. Very poor customer service for a hotel that claims to provide a high standard.

Lovely staycation in the city!
Pros:

It was impeccable with beautiful furniture and location right in the CBD. Despite being in the city, noise levels were very low. Room came with complimentary items in the minibar which was a nice touch. Staff efficient and friendly. Seamless check-in and check-out.

Cons:

Needed a smart tv with staple streaming services would have been idea. Remove adult film pay-per-view option as it doesn’t complement the hotel.

don't bother staying here
Cons:

It is no longer a 5* hotel and should lose this rating. Poor restaurant, poor quality breakfast (No freshly squeezed juice, no home made granola, tiny pots of bircher muesli with soggy sunflower seeds, dirty carpets, dirty lifts, no general lounge seating, terrible top floor bar with no table service. Bedroom door not working, old tired mattresses
