The facilities and breakfast options were excellent

Cons:

While it is ok for my husband and I, but my daughter was sharing the room with my sister. Having a privacy screen between the shower room and bedroom would be better.

Centrally located hotel with disappointing quality and performance
Pros:

it's fairly centrally located in Jl. Cikini Raya which has a number of cafes, a nice library and is a nice area of Jakarta for having a walk, about 20 mins walk from Monas, there is a pool on the roof and a well-equipped gym

Cons:

the internet did partly not work, the reception staff has poor English (you need to explain everything 3 to 5 times and then they don't really understand) and makes (too many) mistakes which they usually notice late so that I needed repeatedly go to the reception to resolve things; the information given by the reception staff is not always correct: they told me the taxi to the airport would take 60 mins, but it took almost 90 mins - that should clearly not happen, such information needs to be fully correct; the pool is only 1.2 m deep, so, not optimal for swimming and has too restrictive opening times from 6 am to only 6 pm - the gym opening times are also too restrictive (only until 9 pm); when I had ordered a massage due to major back pain, the lady got physically intrusive - which is really unacceptable - and the massage was of rather poor quality; the rooms have poor view and do poorly isolate the noise of the neighboring rails; the breakfast is chaotic and really poorly organized: essential components like juice, milk or sausages were on some days available, but on others not, plates & cups have been running out during breakfast several times without being refilled etc., etc. - there is only one single type of tea available and only one type of juice - all in all a disappointing experience to stay in that hotel, there are many (much) better ones available in Jakarta and in the Cikini area...
