Su Merdum Hotel

First of all its a very old and traditional mansion but we had very bad and disgusting service.
1. Its says on site self parking but there is no parking spaces , you have to park on the side road by yourself, unsecure park also we had scratch on the car.
2. We get premium room with garden sight and kind bed but they merge 2 single bed and they dont even know why 2 single bed in room. We try to explain them its not normal . When I ask the cancel room shift manager said lets clean my room and you can stay there . I get very angry and than manager agree to show other room .
3 . Hotel staff requie extra cost for other rooms and we said its not our mistake and they agree to let us stay on another room.
4 . When we agree to stay another room in 5 min time I turn A/C on and over 30 min temprwture doesn't go up.
5. We call reception and explain problem they agree to change room to another. When we move to other room still we want to drink tea and there was no kettle . We ask kettle to drink tea they just bring their own kettle and 2 drink glass Kettle was very dirty also we saw some ash in the tea mug .
6. We made another complain to the reception and they let us move another room I was finally thinking to relax and I want ti get shower . I turn the shower on and I wait at least 3 4 min to get hot water and no hot water. They want to check downstairs to is there somethig wrong and they said hot water in working order. After all this situation we left to hotel

Einrichtungsidee ist toll. Aber qualitativ nicht gut.

Das Personal war sehr unerfahren, und das hotel nicht im besten Zustand. Das Personal hat auch nur Türkisch gesprochen und somit war es für uns sehr schwierig uns zu verständigen. (nur eine Person war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend)

Quit, clean , and very Luxury. Polite staff.its small motel and you can go next to i, a lot of restaurants to eat tukishfood..

Good service and comfortable, quiet. Rooms could do with repairs and general upgrading. A little jaded.

Our view of this hotel is mixed. The location is good for exploring Beylerbeyi and the surrounding area. We asked several times about access to the Hammam (which was one of the reasons for selecting this hotel) before we were given access. On each occasion we were given a different reason why it was out of use but when we eventually got to access it, it seemed fine. The room were were in was generally good. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, however, there was no separate bath/showeroom - it was partitioned off from the room with glass which made it very tight and awkward to use.

Even though my booking was confirmed and the payment already went through, when I got there I was told that they had no room. Not only they didn't bother help me find another accommodation, they told me that it was Expedia's problem and it wasn't their fault. To make long story short, I had nowhere to go at 1AM in Istanbul thanks to this terrible place.

Resepsiyondaki bayan çok soğuk ve ilgisiz

ich würde das Standartzimmer nie mehr nehmen es ist sehr stickig da man die Fenster nicht öffnen kann weil da die ganzen Abfälle abgeladen worden sind. Man muss Klimaanlage benutzen. Das Frühstück wird einem serviert wobei man mit Wartezeiten rechnen muss. Aber die Lage ist toll.

best service ever

Es ist ein sehr schönes und außergewöhnliches Hotel aus dem Jahre ca. 1850 (laut Auskunft der Mitarbeiter). Mitarbeiter und Service waren perfekt. Die erste Nacht haben wir ein Upgrade erhalten, weil unsere Buchung nicht vorlag. Das Problem wurde schnell und freundlich gelöst, ohne das wir warten mussten. Wenn man nicht in einem normalen Hotel nächtigen möchte ist es eine sehr gute Auswahl.

Reserved and confirmed the room but when I get there 1:20am they said they don't work with Expedia and all rooms are booked. (Next day I learned that they did worked with Expedia) I took us 3 more hours to find a a another hotel after driving all around with my wife.

This is not acceptable, think twice before you make your reservation here. If they can get better rate from other customer they will sell your room to someone else.

Güzel bir gece geçirdik. Oda kalitesi, ikramlar, personelin ilgi alakası ve tavrı herşeyiyle güzeldi.

Lovely local find on the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus. Restored Ottoman house with the rooms furnished with elegant decor reminiscent of the times. Staff were so friendly and very attentive. Garden, pool, pool side dining and walking distance to stores and restaurants overlooking the water. A little oasis - we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
