Pros:

Service was first-class. From front of house to housekeeping and everyone in between, all the staff were very attentive, courteous and efficient with a smile. The only things I can fault are the rooms being obviously dated, the open air side across the rooms which caused the rains to blow into the open doors, and the squeaky left elevator that scared me to no end. Taking everything into consideration, I would book this hotel again when chance permits.

Limited menu. I have a garlic/onion allergy, and could not eat anything on the m menu. Even the burger patties came pre-loaded with garlic.

Love our stay
Pros:

We absolutely loved staying here, the view overlooking Taal was breathtaking, both at bedtime and upon waking. It would have been perfect if there were stools and a small table on the balcony to fully enjoy the scenery, but that’s a minor detail. The staff were exceptional… always welcoming us with a smile, thoughtful, respectful, and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this place! Rooms on the 7th floor and above offer a clear, unobstructed view of Taal. We’ll definitely be back. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and we appreciated the mini fridge, microwave, and kettle. We even borrowed cutlery and small plates so we could celebrate my mum’s birthday with cake, such a nice touch!
Oh and let me mention the Breakfast here- it’s worth the price. Delightful everyday with so much selection. It caters to both Filipinos & western taste.
So close to great restaurants like BalayDako, RSM & the famous Starbucks overlooking Taal. The hotel itself has a passage to go to a smaller Starbucks & shopping mall beside it. So convenient. Loads of parking space.
Highly recommend this place to family & friends

Pros:

Had a wonderful stay at Summit Ridge!

The staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming! Check-in was smooth, and the front office team greeted us with genuine smiles. They provided helpful information about the hotel’s facilities and amenities. Since it was Holy Week, they also gave us recommendations on churches to visit around Tagaytay, which we really appreciated.

The room was beautiful, and the view of Taal was the best I’ve ever seen—absolutely breathtaking! Check-out was quick and seamless.

We will definitely be coming back!

As soon as we entered the room it smelled like mold/musty
The towels were gray and wet and dust coming out of the bathroom fan exhaust
The management needs to finish renovating before allowing customers in their property

Pros:

Breakfast buffet was not so great. Food ran out and took a while to refill.
Room is old, dark and not welcoming. Hard to open the door. All doors in the room are old and dirty. Bathroom towels were very thin and looked brownish gray as opposed to white towels.
We were given 1/2 roll of toilet paper per day which usually ran out by the end of the day.
The lobby was clean and nice but getting off the elevator to our floor looked like it was from another decade, very old and floors were worn down.
The room needs updating for sure.

Pros:

After booking this hotel on Expedia for just One night we got a message saying that it was under renovation. I messaged them afterwards because I have two small children that want a pool, so it's very important that the pool is open. I wanted to make sure that the pool was available so after attempting to contact them for 3 days there was no response. Not happy with the communication.

Upon arrival, very happy with the look. Clean and modern. Our room was on the top floor with a fantastic view, we loved it. Nighttime showed the flaws:

Extremely loud. Even on the top floor it sounded like people were right outside our window.
One of our rooms smelled of sewage at night along with the bathroom.
Very spacious bathroom but almost no hot water.

We had lunch at the restaurant and it was okay, but overpriced. The breakfast was good and a much better deal. The pool was nice and cold and it had a shallow area perfect for kids.

Overall, we may stay there again. I don't think we'd be able to put up with the smell in the room again and would probably ask to move. The view from the top floor was fantastic, and the room itself was really nice. It would be worth giving another shot if the price was right.
