The staff was VERY accommodating and the hotel was extremely clean and convenient location!
The staff was very helpful. We loved the location, steps from restaurants, market and tourist shops.
When we arrived it was a little difficult to find the front door as it wasn’t on the main square, but just around the corner off an alley. Once we found it, everything was fine.
Bardzo kompetentna i miła obsługa, wnętrza czyste, gustownie i stylowo wykończone.
Brawo za otwarty do używania smart w TV.
Urocza obsługa w kawiarni serwującej śniadania.

Café da manhã
We stayed 4N here in the center of Old Town Split, just off Narodni Square, near the Palace and Riva. We were taken to the hotel in a golf cart from the traffic-allowed area. Good porterage and service at the FD with Josephina. The elevator stops at second floor, which also services another hotel. Our room is 204. The floor above houses another hotel.
On the second morning, I discovered by accident a pod coffee machine in the "lobby" of the other hotel on my floor. Now no need to walk 10 min to the bus terminal where there is a coffee vending machine.
We're in an upgraded room -- large, clean, lots of furniture, double vanities, no view, good water pressure, good AC. Also a proper closet with slippers and robes.
The breakfast set-up is different than most: Walk outside to a resto two doors away. The buffet is very enticing with lots of yummy pastries and fruit, esp the cantaloupe. Also there are options for my egg order -- scrambled with ham, cheese, and mushrooms. With a cup of cappuccino -- perfect!
Amazing service. Perfectly located in the middle of the old city. Parking service for 40 Euros very professional and prompt. Upon early departure you can also receive a breakfast to go.
The breakfast in the restaurant cucina next door was good but not spectacular. You can order eggs freshly cooked to order and they had toast, jam, apples, some cheese and cold cuts.
O quarto grande é completo
O café da nanhã .
Poucas opções, repetidas todos os dias e em um local super apertado
We had a good-sized room with a lovely view of the Piazza and a balcony. Good location. Quiet room, especially considering that it overlooks a busy piazza.
Only one luggage rack. A sofa, round table in front of the sofa, and a credenza. For once, the thermostat for the room was easy to understand.
The desk was adequate, but the three plugs are under the desk just a foot above the floor. Not so easy to use, but not terrible. Plugs at each bedside too, and several other plugs around the room. No USB ports at all. Internet was perfectly fine. Overall Internet rating is acceptable/good.
The bathroom is large and well-lit, with two sinks and a lovely, easy-to-use shower. Not quite enough room for two toiletry bags, but close.
An interesting fact here is that if you go to the second floor, the elevator opens on both sides, and you’re in a different hotel depending which door you use. Not a problem but a novelty.
Overall, this is the best hotel room on our trip and easily rates five stars.
Limpeza, amenities loccitane, localizado no centro.
Café da manhã é ruim, pouquíssimas opções. Não tem frutas. Atendimento demorado e é fora do hotel.
A cama extra (sofá cama) é ruim.
O quarto maior fica no ultimo andar e é sotão rebaixado e ficamos batendo a cabeça no teto.
Location
Breakfast was poor, not great selection
Great location. Kind staff. Nice size rooms. The only negative was there did not seem to be much hot water for showers
Beautiful historic hotel, very well kept and immaculate. Surprised how quiet it was but it was not peak season when I stayed there.
Pros:
Beautiful property. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. Not a chip of paint or faded velvet seat anywhere that I could see- perhaps it had a recent update. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived past 2300 and the front desk attendant came to the edge of the pedestrian section to help us with our bags. I guess they did not have a golf cart available at that hour, but it was very helpful to have him drag our larger bags over to the hotel, which was a 10 minute leisurely paced walk away. And very grateful for the tiny elevator and excellent water pressure! K.uzina is a cute little restaurant that serves the hotel (breakfast is here), but is not connected physically - must walk outside a quick few steps next door (food review is posted separately).
Cons:
No real cons. Just a few inconveniences. It is in the pedestrian-only section and while relatively close and walkable to many places in the old town, it is a bit challenging to figure out where to call the cab to arrive when needing transportation. It’s a boutique property but not a full-service hotel. No room service or bar area. The restaurant next door is very small with a limited menu - there is no bar so you cannot just have a glass of wine. There is no turndown service but they do provide anything you need with a phone call. The configuration of the hotel is interesting- I appreciated that doors to the floors off of the stairwell require a hotel key to unlock since anyone can walk in off the street but there was no similar security system in the elevator. I guess since Croatia is considered the safest place in Europe (residents have told me this several times), this isn’t an issue. But being from New York City, I did take notice. The main issue for me was that the mattresses were quite soft, a common theme in most European hotels in which I’ve stayed.
All in all, should I ever come to split again, I would definitely stay here. It really is a charming property.
