Clean and good service, recommend
This is in the Rockwell complex in Makati. It is only 20 minutes (to 90 minutes depending upon traffic) to the airport. It is attached to a huge mall (quick walk through the parking garage) with lots and lots of great places to eat. There is also some shopping available in the mall. Rooms are big and comfortable. There is a free golf cart shuttle to take you around the big Rockwell complex (but not bring you back, but everything is within walking distance).
The one bedroom suites were different sizes and you didn't know which one you would end up getting. Most were big enough, but some have a very small living area. The breakfast is not a buffet; there are about 10 different things you can order. The service can be very, very slow. There were 7 of us and the food would come at different times....over 30 minutes apart.
Service was warm and seamless, and the overall vibe was quiet, refined, and relaxing despite being in a prime location.
Definitely a stay I’d come back to. 🤍✨

Great Location. It was nice to have the buggy available to take use around.
The breakfast service was very disappointing. The food was delicious, but the staff didn't seem very welcoming, and the food took a while to come out. It was a busy morning, but it was not an enjoyable experience.
The pool was also disappointing. The kid pool was closed for repairs, and there were no towels available.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. The front-of-house and housekeeping staff deserve 5 stars—they are genuinely kind and professional.
Unfortunately, the management operates with a surprisingly cheap mindset that ruins the experience.
Despite paying premium rates, I was denied a second coffee at breakfast because of a "one-coffee-per-day allowance"—an embarrassing level of nickel-and-diming for a hotel of this caliber.
Furthermore, my specific request to have my laundry folded and packaged was ignored; the shirts were simply returned on hangers, budget-motel style.
It’s a shame to see such a great property and hardworking staff held back by a management team more focused on petty cost-cutting than guest satisfaction.
My stay at Aruga by Rockwell Hotel was an excellent experience because of its convenient accessibility to the mall and nearby businesses. The staff were very hospitable and made me feel comfortable even while I was away from home.
Location is amazing, it’s in the middle of everything and very close to BGC and Makati Central District where most of my work appointments are.
Atmosphere is always great, as I always feel so comfortable and at-home. Aircon cools well and the entire place is always clean.
The rooms are all so comfortable. It has a lived-in feel to it without making it feel like so many people has used it. It feels like your own.
It’s a little pricey but it’s worth every cent.
There is also relatively no noise at all that would irritate you or make you uncomfortable.
Service is AMAZING. Bianca, Cairo, Paul, Ms. Cha, Sir Rollie… all of them are so great at making you feel like you’re very well taken care of.
