Blast from the past!
Pros:

Location was perfect. Quiet yet central. Easy access to "everything".
Staff were excellent, helpful, approachable, attentive.
The buffet style breakfast was very good all round with great support staff and excellent value for money.
Beds were comfortable.
Clean hotel with efficient, friendly cleaning staff.
The place offers an old fashioned quality service aiming to ensure customer well being and personal care. I felt welcome and valued.
Beautiful art deco building too.

Cons:

Nothing I did not like. It is true that the decor is tired in places, that the bedrooms are rather small, that there is no air conditioning (fans are provided) but... I was not looking for impersonal "perfection"... I

Goed ingerichte kamer met fijne bedden en een prettige douche.
Het uitzicht vanuit de comfort tweepersoonkamer was prachtig, wij hebben s nachts met de gordijnen open geslapen om te kunnen genieten van het uitzicht vanuit bed.

Cons:

Indien je voor langere tijd wilt verblijven zijn de kamers wat aan de kleine kant. Voor 1 of twee nachten is dit echter prima!

Good value, clean, ideal location will go back
Pros:

Less than a 10 minute walk from the station, middle of the town easy to get to everywhere we needed.
Spotless hotel, room very good standard, able to make a coffee in the room, nice sized bathroom, staff very helpful and friendly

There is no hotel parking, only a city parking that is paid additionally - the machine was not working at the parking spot as well as getting there from the hotel by car was quite a journey, overall getting in and out of the parking took me 1.5 hours.

Alles was op loopafstand! Het uitzicht op de kathedraal was enig. We konden wat eerder inchecken en kregen bij aankomst een flesje water (het was 36 graden)

Cons:

Ik had de kamers iets groter verwacht. Maar dit was op zich geen ramp.

Good olace to come back to, especially with a bicycle.
Pros:

Great location close to railway station. Safe bicycle parking in the courtyard, also after checkout time was perfect!

Cons:

Can be a bit noisy outside but isolation from windows is good. Hot in the room though.
