Good location. Helpful.
The architectural details in the building are lovely. It was positioned well for walking to the heart of the city.
We didn't like our room. We had stairs up to the bathroom , the view out into the yard was tatty, and we only had one stirring stick for our teas and coffees.
Great hotel. Thoughtfully updated. Very quiet rooms. Bed is comfortable.
It’s clear the building is very old. They have an issue with the AC system meaning not all rooms have cool air. They try and remedy this with a fan but in France in the summer it’s just not good. Credit to the nice staff who tried to help but there’s nothing they can do. I’d avoid and stay somewhere more capable of having guests
stayed just one night whilst touring the Loire valley, the hotel is
No idea how they passed equivalent of Fire/Buildind Inspection
Great location!
Very nice hotel. We stayed only one night but we definitely recommend staying at Hotel d’Anjou.
Great location, service and decor for a one night stopover. Plus secure parking.
Staff were excellent!!
Excellent check in service. Really nice, large room. Good bathrooms. Easily walkable to all areas
Nice hotel, breakfast good, no bar , and restaurant not open Sunday or Monday . Bathroom very tired , and strange 2 doors into room! Lots of stairs and very old lift
Charming property centrally located. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Inner rooms are completely silent given its central location. Near to all the major sights. Would easily recommend.
Just an overnight stay - was a bit concerned about a few not-so-good reviews but could find nothing to complain about. We had a lovely welcome, our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast on Sunday was fresh, plentiful and tasty.
Excellent and friendly staff
Beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms and I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Just terrific.
Breakfast was very poor. Even at 9am, staff were unable to clear tables fast enough or to restock the buffet. We had to wait 40 minutes for more bread, and then it arrived frozen! Breakfast was hyped in the room information but was shocking.
I'm very sad to write this review and have reached out to the property twice for a reply and rectification of my recent stay without a reply.
While the hotel, staff and room are perfectly lovely. I arrived and was left 2 Shampoo bottles (one of which had already been clearly opened) and no Conditioner. The fire alarm went off and was a false alarm, however my sleep after a long journey from Australia (30 Hours) was very disrupted. The following night I had no hot water to have a shower, the next morning, still not rectified and after a restless night sleep was offered to shower in another uncleaned room just down the hall, traipsing there in my dressing gown with all of my toiletries, however this room thankfully had Conditioner. The hot water had apparently been fixed however that evening after a cold and wet day, I was greeted to no towels in my room and tepid water. When I requested some towels, the receptionist brought me a very old and stained bath mat which was quite disgusting. Requesting to speak with a manager this was denied as to none being on site and they wouldn't be on site for the remainder of my stay another 2 days over the weekend. I requested another room and was told I should move Hotels. Now as the basic necessities of a hotel such as hot water weren't available to me for 2 days of my 4 day stay and no manager was on hand or would contact me, this was most upsetting. I had no desire to change hotels for my final night and no compensation was offered.
The hotel ran out of hot water for a few hours two days in a row during our stays. The staff also didn’t change the bed sheets and forgot to take out our garbage.
