Review Highlights

Pros:
Very friendly and attentive staff
Excellent and varied breakfast and high-quality dinners
Large, clean rooms with terraces and good views
Excellent spa, indoor pool and sauna facilities
Quiet hotel, good base for local sightseeing
Cons:
No air conditioning in many rooms — can be very warm; fans provided
Some rooms small or dated (not consistent quality across all rooms)
Limited parking and hotel is a bit away from town centre for some

Categories

Cleanliness
9.4
Multiple reviews explicitly praise cleanliness: rooms and bathrooms described as very clean, 'rent och fräscht', and 'la chambre est propre'.
Service
9.5
Service repeatedly highlighted as a strength: staff described as very friendly, attentive, 'au petit soin', helpful at reception and willing to move guests to better rooms.
Location
8.3
Location is generally good for visits and views; some reviewers note it is a ~15 min walk to town, a bit away from the centre or not in scenic nature, and parking is limited.
Room Quality
8.6
Rooms are often described as large, apartment-like with terraces and comfy beds; a few reports of one small single room or an initially dated room and occasional overheating without AC.
Amenities
9.3
Spa, indoor pool, saunas and a good sauna area are frequently praised; terrace and balcony spaces also appreciated.
Value for Money
7.8
Mixed signals: many find breakfast and dinner excellent, but at least one guest felt the single room price-quality was not justified; parking constraints also noted.
Food and Beverage
9.6
Food consistently receives very positive comments: excellent and varied breakfast buffet, multi-course dinners described as fantastic and perfectly cooked.
Overall Experience
8.7
Overall very positive stay reports: calm hotel, friendly staff, great spa and food, many would stay again; minor negatives (heat in rooms, occasional small/dated room) temper a perfect score.
