Restaurant and staff Receptionist was helpful.
Bathroom could have been cleaner with toiletries
Close to highway
Everything was fine
Attached restaurant, Boomerang's, is great.
Shower didn't work, TV didn't work, coffee maker didn't work, beds were soft, the chair in the room was uncomfortable
Good: clean room, friendly staff, connected to a bar/restaurant and comedy club, right off of the highway. Bad: the shower has wildly inconsistent temperatures and some other guests were incredibly loud in the halls and outdoor area, waking us up multiple times.
Our stay was terrible. The name hotel for this place is a joke, it’s more of a motel so don’t be fooled. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the check in process was not clear. The motel section of the Magnuson was confusing since is attached to a restaurant. Honestly, it seems like the motel was a secondary thought when compared to the restaurant it was attached to, almost like a flip gone wrong. There are no phones in the rooms to call the front desk with, our traveling companion’s room was disgusting, his bed had stained sheets and a tub that had a yellow ring around it. Our room had what looked like splatters of possible food from a previous guest on the wall and the chairs were dirty. The front desk lady was nice enough to change our companion to a slightly cleaner room but the couches and chairs in his room were horribly stained and foul looking. The beds were hard as rocks, I’m not sure how anyone could get a good nights rest. We ended up leaving in the early hours of the morning because neither one of us could really fall asleep or relax, so not do not recommend staying here, we just happened to have to book due to other hotels being sold out but we would’ve been more comfortable sleeping in the car or driving straight home after our event instead of wasting our time trying to get some sleep there. I will say, the food at the attached restaurant was very good.
The staff was amazingly helpful and responsive, especially Jennifer.
I think the expression goes, “if it is too good to be true”.
Don’t be confused with the Budget-in, that shares a courtyard, parking lot, and dumpster that has several dirty mattresses around on the ground. This is the type of environment, where it may be cheaper for people to stay than pay rent. The front desk closes at 7pm, so you’ll have to go into the restaurant, and check in. Which isn’t awful, just confusing. Once you walk through the doors, you will see a nice average looking restaurant, that also has a few gaming areas, that the kids will immediately love! Once you pass through the double doors, to the hotel area, you will be greeted (in the hallway) with the smell of your old, smoky Aunt, and something else that people smoke for their glaucoma concerns. We ordered a deluxe non-smoking room. At first, I thought maybe the photos on the website were taken with a .5 lens. Although we booked a non-smoking room, our room (that was eligible for smoking) per the room number sign, did not smell nearly as bad as the hallway. Not only is the room not temperature regulated, you HAVE TO keep the fan consistently going all night, or you will hear the individual in the room next to you violently vomiting at 5 AM. Or, when an individual starts their very loud motorcycle right outside your bedroom window, at 7 AM. The room conveniently has 2 doors. The door from the hallway that has an overwhelming aroma, and a door to the outside court area which has a beer bucket for your butts
Terrible
Attached restaurant.
Locked doors.
Great restaurant, activities and staff.
Shower wasn’t good because of unit to make the water stop filling the tub wasn’t working properly.
There were only two outlets in the room including the bathroom. Check in was confusing with the bar.
I just stayed for one night on a Friday. The hotel is attached to a Bar/comedy club/club. I got there early and ate at the restaurant. It was very quiet but after 9PM it turns into a bar/club. it has indoor and outdoor seating with a DJ. It also has a game room. The place was very active. The hotel room was very nice and clean. Bigger than what I expected. This is a great place to just lay your head and a good starting point to site see around the area. This place is great if you are a younger couple, as it has a party like atmosphere, but it did not get in the way of me getting a good night sleep. The desk person who registered me was also very nice.
Didn’t drive after drinking
Got drugged at the bar we both did
Run down. Loud. Remote.
The room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable.
The lady working the desk super nice lady interacted great with my granddaughter. We checked in the 18th. Checked out the 20th. No issues
We loved the size of our double room. We loved the game room.
The doors to the front were locked in the morning. There was no one on site to ask a question to in the morning.
Couldn’t check in at 2am, had to call someone from the bar to get to my room
We loved our large room with two couches and two beds. The restaurant was convenient and DELICIOUS!!! We used the game room to hang out with our large family group
