Great, classic, old hotel. Over 100 years old! Maybe is ready for some renovation but I wouldn’t want to change ambiance of the place. Not a lot of dining or shopping options outside the hotel but a nice place to spend a few days around the Glacier area. Nice golf course for the golfers!
An old facility, no doubt grand in its day, which has been renovated over time. Some of the hardware is antiquated but still serviceable. The building still hosts events & conferences.
Old world charm, beautiful quiet property, live music in the evenings, cosy places bu the fireside, good restaurants
The Hotel is historical beauty. The best living room in the world with fantastic music, Blackfeet Indian culture, fantastic staff ,food, ambiance was amazing. Architecture is unbelievable.
Loved our stay
Beautiful grounds, excellant service. Restaurant food was not the same quality as the hotel.
Beautiful location and amazing historic property
No A/C; No television; poor internet
N/A
Poor bathroom - miniature sink, shower stall. Indifferent restaurant service.
It was really cool to stay at the historic lodge. Rooms
This 100+ year old hotel has a great history. But with a 100 year old building comes some setbacks. No TV, AC or refrigerator in the room. Tiny shower with no shelving or hooks in the bathroom.
The lobby is the reason to visit!! So fun and beautiful. The rooms are extremely basic and a little disappointing for the price.
Internet access was horrible. No coffee in the room.
I loved the authentic lodge and how it has been maintained. The rooms were quaint and functional but not fancy... just right. The main restaurant had plenty of room and there was never a wait. The food was exceptional, both dinner and breakfast. The gounds were well maintained and the view was absolutely beautiful!
Knew it was an historic property but hoped for a better experience.
Our room was on the bottom floor overlooking the parking lot. I believe they gave us the worst room due to using a third party reservation system. Old, dirty and very noisy.
Historic property and common areas interesting; No A/C in common areas or rooms; no elevator. Fans provided; Rooms are true to a lodge from early 1930 and convenient to Glacier Park. But must use stairs to levels 2 and 3.; No other food options nearby and rooms did not have refrigerators or microwaves for your own food.
Staff very nice and helpful; Bellhops carry your luggage up to levels 2 and 3. but you must be able to maneuver steps.
The lodge room accommodations are severely outdated and very uncomfortable. Only one staff member was nice and seemed to want to help or even be there.
Nostalgic old time hotel - no a/c, refrigerator, tv, windows that open, very small sink, old style shower, no tub. Wonderful bed, mattress and pillows. Slept with windows open with temperature around 55 degrees. Limited menu.
It is great to stay at a historic property and we appreciated the historic value. However, that brought with it very outdated bathrooms and a lot of noise from the room upstairs. It was a good place to stay for a night or two
A lot of historic charm.
