Marker 8 Hotel and Marina

My spouse and I were here for 3 nights and it was not fancy, but met every need. The bed was comfortable, very clean, friendly staff, and they provided each a bottle of water per day (perhaps more if needed). We didn’t take advantage of happy hour or breakfast due to the hours, but was nice to have if wanted. It was just over the bridge and could have walked 1/4 of mile to the historic downtown. There are a few places around the hotel you can visit or eat such as O’Steen’s, which I highly recommend! So this is not a bad location to stay at even though you aren’t in the midst of everything.

We would recommend this property to anyone. Overlooking the bay, it was relaxing watching the boat activities and the sunset.
The location was convenient to the historic district of St Augustine.
The breakfast was included and was cooked to order. No Danish, cold cereal etc.

I loved how close the hotel was to downtown without being in downtown, also the view of the rooms were beautiful.

Super freundliches Personal und sehr gut gelegen, war auch praktisch mit dem Auto weil man quasi direkt vor den Zimmern parken kann. Sehr gutes Frühstück, tolle Bedienung.

All staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Location was great. Good breakfast and free car parking. Room had everything we needed with good AC and large comfortable bed.

Historische Altstadtkern

The location is amazing. It is close to downtown without being in the very busy areas. It's a walk over the bridge to all the main downtown areas. The view is awesome and everyone was friendly.

Gina!!! Gina at the front desk was so great!! There were 9 couples in our group that were checking in at the same time! Gina was fun, she was patient and she was soooo helpful!! And Belinda! Belinda at the Captains Table was so nice, accommodating, great multi tasker and so friendly! The staff here is on point! They clearly enjoy what they do! Thank you to both of them for a great experience!

Location was amazing for exploring historic downtown.

Room was good size, great outdoor patio, nice bathroom. All the facilities you'd expect at a hotel room.

All the staff were friendly.

We'd stay here again and would recommend them to others looking to explore St Augustine historic downtown :)

We enjoyed our stay in Marker 8. We have a private balcony and enjoyed our view of Atlantic Ocean, overlooking the town and bridge. We even saw dolphins while watching the sunset and during sunrise. The location is excellent. Quiet and easy accessible to sights and comfort of restaurants etc. The free parking was excellent. The staff were so gracious and attentive. Gary on the reception area gave us a thorough walk through and recommendations. The ladies in the dining area were sweet and nice. We definitely will come back when we get a chance.
