Sugarapple Inn

The room was clean and cozy. The advertised services worked.

However, at checking the front desk staff was very discourteous, to the extent that my mother and my daughter (the persons on vacation) had to request an apology after a 2 hour delay in check-in. They arrived 1 pm the stated check-in time, they were check-in after 3pm. The front desk offered no apology at the start of wait and was quite dismissive when this was pointed out. At the end of wait she grudgingly offered one after its absence was pointed out.

My family I have stayed at this property on 3 occasions over the years. This lack of courtesy has cause me to reconsider future stays at this property.

Accessibility

Sugarapple Inn is a hidden little gem. The only downsides are that there is no bar or restaurant so you have to self cater or go into town which is easy enough.

Nice calm , relaxing spot , enjoyed , although I would advise staff to make sure everything in rooms are working as they should such as electronics

The grounds and garden are very nice. The staff is super friendly, excellent customer service and very helpful. It's a quick walk to Friendship Bay beach and Bequia Beach Hotel via a path through the backyard gardens. Beautiful views of Friendship Bay from the hotel.

I love Sugarapple inn it ain’t perfect but it’s affordable and comfortable.

A little jewel in secluded Friendship Bay. A few issues, with Air Conditioner and television were satisfactorily resolved. Sharmon the breakfast Lady was awesome.

I had a great time staying at sugarapple inn. The ambience was very welcoming, the staff friendly, and the room well prepared and equipped if you want to prepare your own meals. Few minutes away from the beach. I would definitely recommend.

Delightful, quiet location with benefit of lovely pool. staff all great, helpful, informative, absolute joy. Convenient for bus service and nice walking area. Sincere thanks

Property is beautiful, very clean and although there are other people around it gives you privacy. Important for me was the private kitchenette.

I will definitely visit again, unfortunate my stay was cut short due to hurricane Beryl.

My one downside was the mattress being a bit too soft for my back and the crackling sound of the bed.

Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

it was great i liked the location and set up only thing is free breakfast is only bread and tea or coffee with butter and jelly, anything else like eggs or pancakes you have to pay for separately.

Friendly helpful staff, property very clean with all amenities required. Quiet peaceful atmosphere 3 mins walk from the beach.

From the moment that I drove up to the property I was impress. The staff was the icing on the cake not to mention the view. My night time swim in the pool looking up at the stars was breathtaking. I have stayed at many places and Sugarapple Inn is now one of my favorite. If I'm ever in Bequia again I will be there.

Overall, we had a great experience at Sugarapple Inn! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and nice. We especially loved having our own kitchenette. The pool was great and Friendship Bay beach (which is beautiful) is within a short walking distance.

The dining area was also beautiful. Our one major knock is that the property is advertised as having "breakfast included". I don't know that this is a fair statement as the only included offerings were some coffee or tea, and toast with a few small pieces of fruit. If you wanted anything like eggs, or pancakes or anything a bit more substantial, you had to pay extra. This isn't advertised up front and given the cost to stay at the property, I think a more adequate breakfast should be provided. The woman in charge of breakfast also was on her phone constantly, often taking phone calls on speaker out loud, which was odd.

Again, overall we really enjoyed out stay and would likely stay again but I was disappointed by the breakfast component.

Absolutely LOVE this place and will definitely be back! Let me start off by saying that the staff are absolutely fantastic! By the end of my stay, I felt like I was staying with family. The ladies in the office were extremely friendly and pleasant. Checking in and out was simple and quick. The ladies were always quick to answer any questions and assist with taxi service or trips. Extremely welcoming 🙏 They have housekeeping once a day. The housekeeping did an amazing job and went above and beyond 👏 I actually had great conversations with them and they made me feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast is included which is usually coffee, tea and an assortment of breads. The woman in charge of breakfast was also very friendly. There is a small pool which was very refreshing. A short 5-10 min stroll to the beach, which I pretty much had to myself! A short stroll down the beach is The SandBar. A beach bar that has swings and obviously drinks & food. Lorincia is a fabulous bartender there, she'll make you feel like family! A total of 8 units, so a nice uncrowded atmosphere. Stove, refrigerator, table and chairs for self catering. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided. Air conditioning in the sleeping area. I never used the ac as the breeze was perfect at night with the shutters open. Mosquito netting provided (mosquitos actually weren't bad). Hot showers! If you have mobility issues you may want to know that this property is located on a hill and there are steps involved.

This place is absolute magic 10/10 highly recommend. I wish I found Sugarapple sooner. I stayed in Room 6. This place is a hidden gem
