Dr Bird heaven !!!
Pros:

It was an older style property which I love and not too big. It was great to eat outside and watch the birds. Didn’t mind the cats begging for food they just added character to the place. You don’t even need the tv’s in the room, was happy to listen to the wildlife outside.
The lady who looked after us was friendly and welcoming, thank you Charmaine 😍 would love to come here again

Sfeervolle accommodatie waar weinig te doen is
Pros:

Forres Park is een sfeervolle accommodatie, gelegen in de Blue Mountains. De gastvrouw heeft onze kamers geüpgraded omdat er verder niemand was en was zeer behulpzaam. Buiten dat, heeft ze een heerlijke lunch gemaakt en twee keer een voortreffelijk diner.

Cons:

Voordat je hier naar toe gaat moet je goed bedenken wat je hier wil doen. In de nabije omgeving is de koffie fabriek, leuk voor een rondleiding, maar verder is er niets te doen. Er zijn geen trails of andere dingen die je kunt doen. De weg naar Forres Park is een uitdaging (weg zit vol gaten, slecht ‘asfalt’) dus je moet een goede ‘fourwheeldrive’ hebben om in de bergen te rijden.

Pros:

Vi var heldige at blive opgraderet til måske det bedste værelse på hele hotellet. Der er fine muligheder for gåture i området og besøg på kaffefabrik. Vi nød virkelig et par dejlige dage i Mavis Bank, Blue Mountain.

I recommend that you should stay here.
Pros:

Very nice hotel, comfortable , quiet, inside the nature, good service and communication, helpful reception.

Bird watching, Blue Mountain coffee and superv Jamaican food
Pros:

Bird watching from your private terrace: spotted all must-see-birds earlu mornings. Fantastic Jamaican breakfast & diner (!). A private tour for the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee factory on walking distance was organised by our host. Super super!

Pros:

Mostly an excellent experience and the hostess and staff were really friendly and helpful. Two downsides are that they did not tell beforehand that dinners and breakfasts cost additionally. Dinner ($18-$24) and breakfast ($8-$10). Also there were some bugs in the room as there was a gap between the door and the door frame. Overall a great accommodation though and ideal for hikers interested in doing the blue mountain peak trail.

Relaxing days in a beautiful, tranquil place surrounded by nature.
Pros:

Charmaine was extremely helpful with organizing a bird trip and answering our questions about the coffee factory tour. She is also an excellent cook and has a lovely personality. She made us feel very welcome.

Cons:

We would have appreciated a sun lounger!

Very well maintained and rustic property, truly enjoyed my long hikes and coffee farm tours.
Pros:

The breakfast and dinner( decided to have dinner at retreat, extra cost) were exceptional. The staff is great and very responsive to questions about the area. Truly a pleasant experience

Cons:

The property is located very close to the road and the noise of motorbikes can be quite annoying during the busy morning and evening times.

Pros:

Endroit très agréable, niché dans la végétation, avec une belle vue sur les collines alentours.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons pu dîner sur place, malgré une heure tardive. Nous recommandons le repas sur place qui était délicieux, et vous serez bercés par les bruits du ruisseau en mangeant. Très relaxant !
La chambre et les parties communes ont beaucoup de charme, bien que la salle de bain soit un peu vieillissante. Mais il nous a semblé qu’ils faisaient des travaux dans certains chambres.
Vous n’aurez pas le calme absolu à cause de la route, mais la chambre était bien isolée et nous n’entendions que les bruits de la nature depuis l’espace restauration et les jardins.
L’endroit est très accessible depuis Kingston, faites attention à quelques nids de poules, sinon la route est correcte dans son ensemble.
