Meize hotel, located at jalan Sunda, bandung.
Nice hotel, budget price but not budget for facilities, complete emenities in the room, incl. safe deposite box.
Large of room, clean and nice decoration.
Also spa and massage avalaible beside the hotel, the same building ...

Used to be a good stay, but sadly deteriorated to such a state it is not a good choice.In fact it is now a dangerous place to visit. The new hotel security are gangsters and thieves. After a sly theft of my phone the local Police advised me to vacate immediately. Their opinion was surprisingly honest. Not a good recommendation for any hotel. Stay at your own risk and avoid contact with those that are supposed to protect you. 3 months later I am still need reset my password each night, they are still constantly hacking my old phone.It goes like this, you answer a knock at the door, security " want to chat with you" you step outside, next thing you have an unwanted visitor slip into your room. They refuse to leave, calling security to remove them is useless ," they too busy". In my case the intruder refused to leave for 90 minutes, then started demanding 3M.rp ? Within a minute of going to the bathroom my phone was stolen and they disappeared . However my phone never left the hotel, it was dropped from an open window to bushes below, then recovered by the hotel security . The management are aware of the problems there, but as the new staff are contractors they have no say in the matter.Its totally best to avoid this place at all costs, Ignore this advice at your own peril. I certainly would never consider returning and heed the strong advice of the local Bandung Detectives of it being a Dangerous and Undesirable place. Zero Stars from me.

Being here for 3 night. At 1st day i ask to clean up the room, dont know why they dont replace the towel and at day 2, they not replace the mineral water. Its not a small things for me. But i still recommend this hotel if you have go to bandung for a bussiness at a day n just need a room for a rest.

Reserved a couple of rooms for out of town friends. They were very happy with the clean rooms and comfortable beds. Staff and baggage porters were efficient, pleasant and helpful. They also enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family when they need a place to stay while visiting Bandung.

The hotel is clean and nice, the room is a bit small, and it offer many more services than most of budget hotels in Indonesia. However, during my check-in the places looked kind of a mess. There are spring beds everywhere and the staffs are sitting in the hallway. Overall, this hotel is a good option if you are staying in Bandung, the location and service itself are enough for considerations.

The room is small but okay. But there is an annoying mechanical knocking and humming sound in the next room. The AC don't really get cool. The shower area in the bedroom is so small, it makes the towel wet.

This is absolutely not 3 stars hotel! Reception not friendly, resto on top floor is close in evening and no information about opening hour. Kind of spooky if you come upstair. TV channels mixed up and many of them blur.
Room is dirty.. spider web everywhere.. staying 3 nights and bed sheet never been changed.. toilet bowl and sink dirty..
We informed housekeeping lady that shower and water tab on shower room is broken.. so many waste on water if you dont repair. She just simply reply oh our engineering said it could not be repaired. More easy to say it could not be repaired than take action. I am sure that broken tube happen quite sometimes. Yet on mirror there is sticker stated about water conservation.
Not worth for 3 stars hotel and very surprise if this hotel have earned excellent award from Traveloka knowing the fact of hotel service and product are falling apart.

In heneral is fine . But I don't like the clean of the room. Look like need some kind of better clean or renovation for look like a litter bit better.
The staff is very nice and kindness.

If you have nowhere else to go, then you can stay here! Make it your very last option! Average hotel in Bandung. Unfriendly staff, the room is not clean, the AC does not work well (very hot in the room) and the food is just ok. Limited TV channels. Few best things about this hotel are available ATM at lobby, indomaret is next to hotel, and a new restaurant is exactly opposite the hotel.

I’ve been stayed with tons of hotel before but this one was the hotel with the most hardest, solid pillow i’ve ever slept with. And it’s not one but both of the pillow, beside of the pillow I also found the bathroom sink way too small like it’s made to use by monkey not by human being. And one thing also, the receptionist was not too friendly.

Just arrived today at this hotel and disappointed with the services that have been provided.

I requested the one bed room and however have been given 2 beds combined without staff gave proper explanation upon check in. And I also found the red spots on the bed sheet which was very unacceptable. I then contacted front desk and was responded by a male front desk staff and without any gesture apology, he just requested me to go back to Front Desk.

He gave me another room and I asked him whether the bed sheets in new room has been inspected, he said yes, he asked housekeeping staff already and firmed that the room must be in good condition. Surprisingly, I found the same condition, I contacted Front Desk again, the same guy, even don’t bother himself to apologize and blame his housekeeping friend and said that his responsibility is only at front desk (what kind of behavior is this ?? Seriously ?! Where is the coordination among staff? And what a attitude !!!! to handle complaint with this kind of behavior?).
I then even shared to him, that as first step to handle customer’s complaint, he must apologize first then he just said sorry to me with hesitation !!! Unbelievable. He then proposed to change the bed sheet and asked housekeeping staff to come to the room.

When the housekeeping staff came to the room, the another funny story begin. He brought some bed sheets and hardly to find the good condition, he even shared his complained about his hotel management, to me as customer, that the hotel management didn’t buy new stock of bed sheet since long time and they must use the current old bed sheet with bad condition. Then I zipped my mouth, even help him to find the good sheet from bed sheets that he brought to the room! If this story true, we may concerns the management in how they handle this issue. Remember ! You need to deliver the very basic needs of customer to hotel’s room : a clean room !

Ps. I won’t mention the name of front desk staff. Because he may deserve a proper training & evaluation from management, and got another chance. But for hotel management, to find who he is, simply check your front desk’s schedule, the only man who in charge on 29 October, between 2.45 pm - 4 pm. Thanks !

the hotel room is clean and spacious

It's a nice comfortable hotel to stay at. Worth the money you paid for since it's cheap. When we arrived I think there's a group in house and they were really noisy. They were moving from one room to another and their room doors were not close. I suggest that the hotel security and duty managers should do roundings to avoid these kind of scenario.
However, there were some issues with the electricity in our room. It keeps on tripping whenever we slot in our keycard. The engineering guy came to fix it and he said that if it happens again, just open the switch board and flip the switch on. Lol. Really?? I'm a hotelier myself and I NEVER advice my guests to help themselves with the switchboards even if it's visible or reachable.
We ordered room service and of course we DO know food on the menu are your local foods, we just wanted to know what are the ingredients consists in the dish. The F&B staff doesn't seem to know and just said it's local food. We called at 10pm (last call is 10:30pm) but they said room service is closed until I insisted that they took my orders only then they guy took my order.
I'm not sure if the staff here knows English well coz the first time I went to the reception to ask for a universal adaptor, she said they do not provide. The second time I went and spoke to the same exact person but this time I showed her a picture, only then they send it up to the room.
Overall the hotel is nice, cozy, clean and staff are pretty friendly. Probably they're not really used to foreigners around as most of the guests here are locals.

Stayed here for a night out. Nice and clean room. Simple straight and worth the money. Breakfast was allright, nothing special as I dont eat a lot. Parking can be a challenge. you need to leave it to the valet service.

Stayed here last week. I only booked 4rooms for 1 night. Rooms are clean, staffs are polite. I like the shower. Rooms are spacious compared to other budget hotel. There is a parking lot, and minimart next to the lobby. Overall satisfied with the hotel.

The rooms had the most comfortable of beds with the extra soft pillows... the room is small but comfortable.. Close to train station within 2km walking distance... Not so far from town centre itself..

the location were quite good since it was on the city center, near a convenience store and several restaurant. But it was also quite far from public transportation facilities so you need either to have your personal transport or to walk for a while to get some transport. The room were medium although the bathroom were quite small. And yes, there is a differences around 50.000 Rupiah between the one without the breakfast and the one with the breakfast.

I checked in on April, 15th in room 114. I booked from online travel agent. When check in process at about 12 a.m, the front desk agent wasn't welcoming me very well. At first, i requested one large bed to the front desk agent and i had told him before i had contacted the online travel agent due to my request because i forgot writing the special request while booking. Then he said its only twin bed available that night and i should make a confirmation regarding my request to the hotel instead of contact the travel agent customer service. I did understand if my request cant be fulfilled, but the way the front desk agent explained seemed like patronizing and impolite. I agreed my room is twin bed and i asked for smoking room, afterthat. He explained its fully booked for the smoking room since afternoon, once again, with impression patronizing and impolite. He even didnt smile, at all.
For the room rate was affordable and the room was lovely. The housekeeping staff were friendly and very helpful adjoining bed and lending me hairdryer, thankyou in advance!

On sunday morning I was arrived in Meize Hotel at 10am.. The staff was not allowed us for early check in, because they said they have fully occupancy at that time. However first of all they said we can check in at 12pm, and then they change that we can check in at 1pm. Me and my friend was really tired at that time, I know its fully occupancy and hard to got early check in but at least there are one room must be empty at that time and can be priority for us. However the staff said still there's no one guest already check out, but I've seen some people come down and check out to the reception. Some how still the reception strictly said we can not for early check in. mostly in some hotels they will offer for early check in fee or at least they will offer for the room that must be ready at that time even we need to pay for additional if the room type are different.

That was really bad, me and my friend need to sleep on the lobby and still the reception didn't care about us ! I need to come and go to the reception for checking my room readiness. The reception even didn't have smile on her face, that was very bad.
Then when I enter my room , the roller blind was hanging out, and there are a lot of spot on the sheet. So I request to change the sheet and fix for the roller blind. Thank God the engineering and housekeeping staff was very responsive and friendly.

On the last night I stay, I was request for a bowl and how come they said they run out of the stock. I'm pretty sure they were lie to me, because it's possible at 11pm and they didn't have a bowl in the kitchen, then I was just requested for a plate instead.

It's the 3rd times i stay here when i visited bandung.
Good price and facilities.
The room is very clean and comfortable
Highly recommended for this hotel.
And for the next visit to bandung, i will always choose this hotel, for sure.
