Checked in late in the evening just before midnight. Pierre the night manager was very helpful, kind, polite and informative. Apparently I had been place in a room at the far end of the resort, the last room in fact. He moved us closer as since I'd been through airports in a wheelchair and had mobility issues he felt that I wouldn't even be able to get to the room. The room we got was such a disappointment given we'd stayed prior in a lovely room with views that I had to ask at 2am to be moved. There was a torturous sound of humming from a water tower apparently which was needing maintenance. Couldn't bear it and as we'd been travelling all day and had a 4 night booking we asked to be moved. Honestly sleeping in reception would have been more bearable. They moved us to another room, minus a view, with a rooster crowing all night long. No luggage rack. No water. 2 tea bags. drawers popping open on bedside table next to bed, light on bedside table not working, nothing in the fridge,no milk only creamer powdered, no fruit basket, Asleep we were woken up with a knock on the door and I was hoping it was news of our room they are trying to find us, only to discover it was a guy wanting to check the sheets and asking us if we were checking out. Honestly, the place has gone to ruin since we last stayed and I am extremely disappointed at our stay this time...so far. Now the phone is ringing with news of another room?

Beautiful oceanfront location on a quiet bay. A perfect retreat with everything we needed. Staff was professional and friendly, al fresco dining and beverages were good. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property for six nights. The property itself is beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful; However, we did have issues with the room.
First, we did not get the rooms we had booked and paid for, even though we booked 10 months in advance.
We booked a premium room with a kitchen and the room was not not available. We were given a downgrade as the hotel was fully booked. The onsite manager did credit us with food vouchers.
The room we were in had a kitchen but there were very few kitchen supplies, no oven mitts, no coffee maker, no oven tray, inadequate cutlery, only one small pot, etc...
We also had a leak from the air conditioner and the sink which was not repaired during our stay, even though we asked three times for it to be looked at. instead we had towels on the floor soaking up the water all week. I believe the problem with this property is general management. The staff were very nice but It appears they are not adequately trained.
I thought the food was downright awful and most of the time not edible it tasted that bad

I think $27 for an Aperol spritz is a bit ridiculous
Breakfast for two for $80 a bit much

Our room was in newest building and was beautiful with balcony overlooking the ocean. Great black sand beach with amazing snorkeling within steps.
Location wasn’t great but had the best sunset views on the island and beautiful black sand beach the room had views of the ocean which was nice and great to have a washer dryer in the room … overall not bad for the price
We stayed 2 night in duplex. We had bedroom and full bathroom upstairs and toilet with common area whiche had 2 beds for our kids on.main level. Beautifully ocean facing room with 2 balconies. Very clean!!! Had all we needed. Great staff. Cons: not much of the beach. Ok pool. Terrible dining!!! Food was expensive and disgusting.!!!

Our favorite property on Tahiti. Great staff, beautiful black sand beach, loved our suite. Only two things we thought could be better, the "hot tub" by the pool is not heated, and the restaurant food was a bit inconsistent. We had great food most of the time but on a few occasions the same dish two nights in a row were very different. Small issues, we will definitely be back.
