Sadly, nothing. I have travelled extensively over many years and this is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. And it wasn’t cheap!!!

Cons:

Firstly, we arrived having booked a hotel with parking, it is an essential to us. I asked at reception where the parking was only to be told they didn’t have any, I showed them their website where it was advertised with parking, they shrugged and said there was public parking about 500m away. I explained this was not suitable for us (disability) and asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere. They laughed in my face. I then spent 5 hours trying to get Booking.com to deal with the problem without any success.

Anyway, the hotel did not improve, it looks like it was decorated and furnished in the 1970s and not updated since. No tea/ coffee making facilities, no fridge, well no anything actually and tiny room with no space to walk around.

Worst of all the shower went from normal temperature to scalding with no warning. It is dangerous particularly for a child. Again told the reception, couldn’t care less, so I submitted a formal complaint to the consumer protection agency in Catalonia. Someone will be seriously injured.

The pool in tiny and inadequate for the hotel size, ditto the lifts, the hotel is full of drunk teenagers shouting slamming doors being sick, you get the picture.

And it was expensive! Believe me, you don’t want to stay here, or use Booking.com as they are totally useless and unhelpful at resolving anything. I will never use them again.
